So, I have been missing in action here. I was so pleased to see that someone noticed!!! Thanks Dave :)
I was away in the keys the first weekend of the month, so I did move, but on my SUP. That doesn't rack up the miles. Then I was in Vegas for work(yes, I said work) and didn't return until this weekend. There, I had a lot of walking and no access to a bike, so not many miles there either(although I did walk an average of 6 miles a day!!).
Monday, I was a human vegetable trying to get my sleep back into sync. But today is a new day! Hopefully, I will be able to hit the gym and do some miles on the spinning bike :)

Hope you all are doing a better job moving than I have!!

I see one of the other changes about this forum is that there are now 30 posts per page instead of 25 like the old.

Visit to consultant on Monday.Problems definitely caused by surgery 40 years ago which has left the anle over tights and prone to injury. Hurrah - with physio I should be able to run up to 10 k. This is so exciting.

Slow progress this month. More walking and running than biking which means less miles. Also super busy at work :(. MTD 42.1

    10/8- 1.6 miles walking
    10/9- 2.7 miles walk/run
    10/10- 2.9 miles walk/run
    10/14- 5.3 miles running

ETA: I might be crazy but it looks like the spreadsheet says my goal is 135, but it is supposed to be 70. Yikes, I'm having trouble with 70, I don't think I could ever pull off 135 lol.

K80FLEC - it's always nice to get some answers, isn't it? Even if that means you need to take action, it's nice to be heading in a productive direction.

ANGELMO8 - Not sure what happened with your goal, but the spreadsheet is fixed to reflect a goal of 70.

There isn't a delete button, unfortunately. I could have used it the other night when I posted the same message unknowingly FOUR TIMES....

And YES, that sure IS exciting that there's hope for improvement with your ankle and some physio!!! That's wonderful news! Very happy for you!!

You're not the first person in the last day or two that had a wildly inflated goal number! Not really sure why that is though....sorry. I'm sure Holli will fix it up when she updates the spreadsheet in a little bit.

I had a good workout at the gym tonight. Felt better than it has in quite a while. It was encouraging.

Lifted and then did a 2.6 mile run/walk on the treadmill. With my lunch walk earlier today, I'm still solidly in the green! WOOHOO! :drinker:

I didn't think I was sick but I couldn't get the motivation to ride and I was sleeping 6 hours a day! Finally got back on the bike tonight and had almost no power in my legs. I did slog out 14 miles though.

    That's 106 miles out of 300.

That's got to be hard working 72 hour shifts too! Your body was probably trying real hard to recover. Nice job getting that good chunk of miles in! :drinker:
