Dark Matter by Blake Crouch - a man is knocked out only to wake up in an alternate world. Great and fast read. I wouldn't be surprised if they made this into a movie.4

Currently reading Holy Bible: The New King James Version, The History of the Medieval World: From the Conversion of Constantine to the First Crusade by Susan Wise Bauer, The Civil War: A Narrative, Vol. 2: Fredericksburg to Meridian (The Civil War #2) by Shelby Foote, The Relations of Nations by Frederick H. Hartmann, Dune by Frank Herbert, and The Novel: A Biography by Michael Schmidt. Been on a non-fiction binge for a bit. All these are pretty good, each in its own way.0

I'm reading A Nation In Pain by Judy Foreman for a science book club. Super interesting look into the issues surrounding chronic pain, how it starts, how it's experienced and what to do about it. Really interesting discussion about the use of opioids and the cycle of pain.0

I have found a great new series. It's the lunar chronicles. It's a remake of some favorite fairy tales but set in the far future and it's really interesting and a real page turner.2

Do you like it? It was huge a few years ago. How does it read?
That's a tough one. I started reading it for a Geology class, so I might have been a little bitter toward it at first. But I didn't end up using it for my book report, so now I'm just reading it for fun. It's not what I would call an easy or fun read. It can get pretty heavy, but that's part of the reason I chose it. I just have to read it when I'm in the right mood. I think it's pretty good, but it's hard to get out of the mindset that it's for school.
