Week2, day#5....... completed! Felt darn good to exercise tonight! Actually looking forward to my early morning routine tomorrow!
And yes, those crow push ups are a killer and the tables too!

I did week2 day1 last night and i'm soooo sore! usually it would be great, but my TOM is killing me today! monday is my rest day, and tuesdays i usually do exercise bike so i'm planning to do day 2 of week 2 on wednesday0

Is it just me or level2 is a killer?:noway: really hard!
It is not just you, count me in, really a killer workout. and to think it's only week 2. This time my heart rate is going in to the roof.lol.
Later at night it's gonna be day 3 week 2 for me.
planks are really hard for me! and it seems like half of this week is planking! ouch!0 -
Got another week 1 work out in. Better than nothing, at least! Back on level 2 tomorrow, and I'm teaching 6 Zumba classes this week. I'm tired already!0

Week 2, day 2, done last night. i really like this level! challenging for me with the mountain climbers and plank jacks all in a row like that but it FEELS so effective! Day 3 today!0

D5W2 is done with a couple dance workout videos thrown in for good measure. Skated for 1 1/2 hours last night, my legs are sooooo tired!!0

I have to say it. I HATE Week 2. I hate it so bad that I find myself slacking. This does not make me happy. I don't want to slack. So I'm going to replace week 2 with Jillian's Shred it with Weights Level 1.
It feels wrong of me but my carpal tunnel syndrome flares up with all the plank/table/push up moves. I can usually get through it just fine when its only push ups but all that planking is doing a number on them.
I'm not giving up. I'm just replacing the last four days of this level with a different Jillian workout.0 -
Week 3 Day 3 Done
It was by far the hardest day so far. lol. But in certain areas I'm getting stronger and such. In level 3, I believe in the 3rd circuit you have to lay on your side with your bottom arm on your shoulder and the top arm on the ground and use your arm and obliques to raise up, when I started this level I could not do that and now I can do it, and I'm practically sitting up all the way like she is on the dvd, yes it's still hard but I'm doing it.
TOM showed up too on Saturday night, so that's another reason why this workout was harder for me today too. Don't like working out when I'm on my monthly but I know the work pays off in the long run

Modifying is always a smart thing to do if you feel something hurts you. Good going for adapting however you need to.
Seems that everyone hates week 2 so far, lol. I've got to say the level 3 of the 30 Day Shred is my favorite Jillian workout of all. I hope we see more of those moves in upcoming Ripped....

Day off for me...spent four hours in the car then 3 hour public meeting then business (late, late) lunch then errand then checking into hotel. I've got my weights, my laptop, my Jillian videos, and a killer headache for some unknown reason so I'm going to call it a day here shortly and will resume tomorrow. Between Jillian and 300 cals burned on the elliptical yesterday I am tired today -- like body tired where I feel heavy. Ugh.0

Oh I have said MUCH worse to the TV during Level 2. :grumble: Especially during those renegade rows or stork rows - or the 2 minutes in plank - or, well, you get it idea.0 -

I have only done 3 workouts in week 2. Disapointed in myself. Got lazy over the Thanksgiving weekend. I hope to kick it in gear & finish the week with atleast one more workout, but planning to get renewed motivation for week 3.0

Week 2 Day 3 Done
5# weights except 8# weights in circuit 3
220 cals per HRM
After a day of rest I burned up the cals -- woohoo. I also took the bull by the horns and downloaded Jillian's Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism to get more cardio in. I travel a lot and hotel gyms are usually small -- the one I'm at only has two cardio pieces, both of which were occupied!!!! I did half the workout this morning for the first time and it was a lot of familiar moves sped up. No weights (except body weight) and it really got me going. Between Ripped and BFBM I burned 460 cals in 60 mins, which is great for me! Plus you don't need any equipment or a large space (which is great for hotel rooms!). I look forward to doing the other half tomorrow morning after Rippin'!
Great work everyone. It really keeps me going knowing how much effort we are all putting in, especially during the busy holiday season!

Did W2D5 yesterday. I just did 10 days straight and my body is beat. Going to take a rest day today. I will walk and get on the bike but no lifting/no Jillian. Will do D6 tomorrow.0

OMG............. First day of Week #3, WOW! It was definitely kicking my butt! But, can't wait to do it again tomorrow morning!!! Just absolutely LOVE the high from the exercises when I am done! Definitely what keeps me coming back!
