I just started watching it on Netflix :) it's been on my list for a long time. Now I have tons of it to plow through on the stationary bike!

The way my husband and I spend quality time lately: I'm on the PC playing The Sims and he's on the Playstation playing Final Fantasy XIV within reaching distance of each other. When something happens that we're excited about in our own game, we'll tell the other to pause and then share. We're complete dorks but we get a kick out of gaming side by side.

Also, my son has watched my husband play FF XIV and now wants to be a mage. He walks around with a Jedi cloak synched at the waist and his light saber upside down and a note book in his hand and tells us that's his magic book and his staff and he can produce fireballs. We're proudly raising a little geek :blushing:

Lately my son has been lamenting the lack of "real magic" in life.

Lol we do this too, only my wife is the brains of the operation and somehow manages to kill everything in any given game with basic units including a single unit of cavalry or spearmen in Shogun Total War and a flak truck, flak tropper and a couple of soldiers in Red Alert 2 - basically she's the Hal to my Dave

I spent the entire hour I had on a Webex discussing on an MFP thread why Channing Tatum ticks me off as the new Gambit.

W-.. wha? Channing Tatum is too.... beefy to be Gambit.

Taylor Kitsch was a fantastic Gambit, he just got stuck in a crappy movie. It wasn't his fault :(

I can't decide whether I'm more excited about a) the two Dark Tower shirts on their way in the mail, b) mowing my way through a few more Fables trades, or c) finishing the most recent chapter of Wolf Among Us.

However, our local branch of the regional comic store chain closed over the weekend. I'm grumpy :(

The only objection I could forsee would be storage issues, but that's a problem for any sort of tinkerer. It's certainly much worse when the tinkerer tinks badly!

I heard one of the pre-schoolers say "what's it got in it's pockets?" and I had to stop myself from quoting Smeagol because none of the children would understand, and neither would any of my colleagues...sucks being the only geek in the company.

I just spent 4+ hours shopping on Amazon for a few pieces for a steampunk outfit and planning for the rest. I believe I will be getting the sewing machine out to put together the rest.

Busy putting together a costume for ComiCon - Helen Narbon. Should be easy, I already have the foofy fair hair and glasses, just need a lab coat and her t-shirt.

Zombie books for the win - I quite fancy American Zombie Gothic, i've read some good reviews on it.

I've got my Kaylee and Captain Hammer costumes all packed and ready for PCC! Decided at the last minute not to take American McGee's Alice because the dang crinoline takes up too much room.

I was up until 3am debating whether to use my $100 GC towards a Pebble watch (https://getpebble.com/discover); decided 'YES'. The list price for a Cherry Red was $140, but between the $100GC and the fact that I'll earn 11% towards a future purchase and 4% rebate via cashback site, my net cost will be $19! SCH-WING!!!:love:

Can't wait to sync that bish with my Android phone and FitBit accounts! :glasses:
