Spent two hours cutting my own hair over the weekend cuz I can’t stand straight & lean forward for too long anymore lol.
I often feel full when I’m 3/4 done with normal food portion and have to eat something again in 1.5-2 hrs. It’s not because I’m craving for something but I’m actually feeling hungry. Hopefully that’s a normal way to handle when I eat without starving the baby! Looks like gaining about 0.5 kg every week for the next 8-9 weeks is doable and not too less...?!0 -

I had to stop running last week, which is really hard for me My first pregnancy I was able to run up until the day I gave birth. But I started having extreme pelvic pain and just cant handle it anymore. Still keeping up my full body strength workouts 4 times per week and the elliptical when I can, but it is getting really hard to find the time and energy in these final weeks, I feel like my 2.5 year old has gotten even more active and i can't keep up. Part of me has just completely stopped caring about trying to remain active, while another part of me is screaming inside that I can't do what I used to. I know that life only becomes harder once the baby is born so I'm trying so hard to stay on top of everything now, but oh my lord its so much harder with a toddler running around.

Early Labour started Tuesday Morning. By Tuesday night I was having moderate contractions lasting only 30ish seconds, 7 minutes apart so I went to bed at about 11 pm. Woke up at 1 am with more significant contractions lasting 1 minute, 3-4 minutes apart. I didn't want to wake my husband up (or my parents... had to call them to come babysit my toddler) so I tried to wait out the contractions knowing I still had a few hours, however the contractions progressed a little more quickly and my husband ended up waking on his own because I guess I was getting pretty noisy during them and he told me we had to get to hospital. At hospital at 3:30 am, 5 cm dilated, got epidural, water broke, 10 cm dilated at 7 am, Had a big contraction, pushed 3 times during it, on the next contraction I did a half push and baby was out. MUCH, MUCH different form my first where I was in early labour for 2.5 days and had 3 hours of pushing to get him out. Baby Leo was born at 38 weeks 3 days, weighing 6 lbs exactly (he's a bit tiny) and 19.3 inches long. My total weight gain was exactly 20 lbs. Home from hospital now, haven't really slept in 3 days and feeling a bit delirious.

Today is the first day of 34 week. We moved to a new place at the end of 32 week & I started to feel the impact of pregnancy on lower body! Can’t stand for too long anymore and feel tired easier...
Was told at 32 week appointment that my weight gain is good (slow and steady) & I should aim a 0.5kg (1lb) gain per week from now on (of course baby girl is doing very well ). That’ll give me another 3-3.5kg to gain in the next 6-7 weeks and total weight gain around 8 kg...

The last ultrasound! Being told the weight gain is slow but steady, so there’s nothing to worry about. I’m actually 61.2 kg as of this morning (37w+0), so I guess things are falling into places quite well?0 -
@verykatie I gained a lot quicker with my second, and got a big belly much quicker, but overall only gained 20 lbs total. The post-baby body recovery is also more drawn out than with my first. With my first I snapped right back to my pre-baby body in like 2-3 weeks, this time around my tummy is taking a lot longer to go down and the skin seems more stretched.1

@fernt21 thanks I'm glad to hear that! I extrapolated my last 4 weeks of gain and determined if it kept the same rate I would gain 60 lbs and freaked out a little hahah. So I guess it'll even out later?0 -
