I am so annoyed. I guess the baby is going through a growth spurt or something because my weight is piling on like crazy. On Sunday it was 164.9. Yesterday it was 167.1. Today it was 168.1. And I've been eating LESS! For some reason my stomach feels really full in the evenings so I have to eat really small portions at dinner, and I'm not eating more during the day to compensate for it. Why does this happen to me lol. I gained 65lbs with my last pregnancy, I'd really like to not do that again.

Please don't stress. You don't seem like you're on track to gain 65 at all! I've gained far more than I'd have liked so far but figure if I keep eating sensibly and logging it on here and keeping fairly active that's all I can do. This baby weight gain doesn't seem to be at all linear, predictable or even make much sense but baby is healthy and that's great!

@hesn92 I am sorry. I think it is normal to have big jumps in the 2nd trimester. Most women gain the majority in the second trimester. I think the fact that your rocked trimester one says you are on the right track!!!! Hopefully, you didn't gain 4 pounds this week. Maybe you need the bathroom? (I know I've been there!!!) But...even if you did, 14 pounds at 19 weeks isn't horrible. Hopefully, next week it will even out? I am obsessed with my weight too. I know I need to gain, but I don't want it to be too much.

@VeryKatie How is postpartum going? How is the baby doing? You barely gained anything. Have you lost it all?

@KellyBgetsfit nope i dont easily lose weight post partum. I absolutely have to calorie count and feel like i starve while i do lol. Orveven if i lose my shape doesnt change. Im down to 9 lbs to lose after 8 weeks but thats just baby, blood, and sweat. And i am still in maternity pants. I was 5 lbs heavier than i am now before my first pregnancy but my pants dont fit. I just have to believe i just need time. I am actively trying to lose now. Hoping to lift weights soon.. . Few months maybe in hopes of flattening a bit (tho ill never have a flat tummy lol)

The baby is good, so cute! She does do purple crying unfortunately but hopefully we will get over the hump soon. After some lactation issues were sorted we seem to be getting a rhythm going.

@am_change once youre ready you should join me in the post-partum pack group too.

    Everyone should!!!

@am_change are you starting to swell? I know I gain significant water weight starting in the 3rd trimester. I also get preeclampsia so...

    Height: 5'7"
    SW: 174
    Goal: 20-25 lb. gain

    Week 7: 172.4 (-1.6)

I lost all the 1st pregnancy weight quickly, plateaued around start weight but put on a few pounds as I started weaning (calorie burn down, hunger did not go down). But in the end I never got to finish weaning as 4 molars decided to come in at the same time and she won't let go. So I'm 7 weeks pregnant, and nursing. Nausea starting to kick in but very off and on.

@karen_thinmint I've never nursed while pregnant but I can't imagine it very fun! I hope your energy stays up and your nausea stays down!

@am_change did you do anything different last week for the loss?

@KellyBgetsfit there has been no change to my food intake or tracking or exercise (I've been roughly staying within a set calorie intake throughout and doing light exercise). This baby and pregnancy growth isn't linear or rational!
