    I confess watching football with all guys is much better then watching it with girls. No gossip, no unnessary conversation, just beer, wings and football.
    Some of the girlfriends joined us later since they were actually at the Panthers vs Giants game but it was very calming even though the Vikings lost to the f'ing Browns. The one girl I was trying to avoid found out where we were (as most the guys don't want to be around her when she is drinking either) thankfully she didn't drink and didn't stay long.

    I was at a beautiful hotel over the weekend (for work, boo!) and on Saturday there was a wedding party taking pictures when I happened to be walking by. The photographer told the groom to pick up the bride and they both just looked at her like she was crazy. So, the photographer proceeds to say that it will surely get a laugh out of them and be a fun pic. I overheard one of the bridesmaids say "they're not the laughing kind". I confess that made me kind of sad and stuck with me all weekend.

    Haha, that's the next project. The other three are less entertaining: one on how to structure your church finances/trustee department, one on fundraising for small churches, and one on overcoming hardship and pulling yourself out of a rut. I discovered that a company called scribd is selling my thesis for 50 bucks but I don't think that really counts.

    I would write more about them but don't want to risk being modded or banned, lol. In fact, I sure do hope it's ok with the TOR to answer this question. I would say anyone who is curious can google it or PM me...but that might be construed as an advertisement :flowerforyou:

    Locking because I need time to process all this and frankly I'm tired. It's the start of my weekend off my night shift job, I've been up since 10 pm the previous night and really don't have the patience or energy to deal with this right now.

    I confess that even though I can't run or do anything high impact for at least another 2 weeks I went back to the gym last night and had a good back work out and spent some time on the recumbent bike. It felt good.

    I confess I got an awkward first email from a dating site today and it made me think we should have an online dating contest among the Peeps. Post any and all odd, random, creepy, funny, etc messages you receive and we'll vote for a weekly winner of "best worst online message". :laugh:

    When I first re-signed up to POF about 3 months ago, I got a message from a man who looked like a serial killer and all his message to me said was "I don't do well when I'm board" ... and yes he spelled bored like that, lol. I was actually afraid.

    I'll admit, I teared up a bit. Also not a spoiler, but for the same reason. Next weekend's finale of Breaking Bad will probably have me in actual tears...

    I got a message that seemed decent. The pictures looked a little weird. I couldn't tell what looked "off" by them. Thank God I read the profile before responding. About 2/3rds down the profile, it stated that she was a post-op transsexual.

    I get emails from transexuals every couple of weeks. As long as they are up front about their situation, it doesn't seem like an odd situation to me. It's not something I'm personally interested in, but nothing wrong with it. They must have a really tough time finding quality dating partners, I feel for their troubles.

    I wasn't offended by it. It felt a little weird because I wasn't expecting it. I live in central Illinois, surrounded by cornfields. It's pretty uncommon around here. The previous manager of the nearest Papa Murphy's is a transsexual. Other than that, I hadn't encountered one in the 5.5 years I've lived here. I can empathize on how tough it is for them to find someone. It has to be a tough life.

    It just goes to show there is someone for everyone. (I assume.) They may be horribly incompatible and have nothing else in common but the experience. I've met several women who've lost large amounts of weight. It's a nice draw since we have that in common but there still needs to be more for things to go anywhere.

    I've had guys approach me that just like dressing up in women's clothes!! Transvestite!! And they usually have a pic of themself as a woman.

    I just reply and say "I'm not sharing my knickers with anyone!" :noway:

    I confess that I am sitting in my "office" which is really just a practice room, my laptop is resting on a music stand that keeps leaning farther forward the longer I type so that eventually my laptop will truly be in my lap, and I really should just go to the damn library to do my prelim research. *sigh* It's so dark though...and so far away...
