I confess that I am sitting in my "office" which is really just a practice room, my laptop is resting on a music stand that keeps leaning farther forward the longer I type so that eventually my laptop will truly be in my lap, and I really should just go to the damn library to do my prelim research. *sigh* It's so dark though...and so far away...

Oh, I also need coffee. Anyone want to be a sweetie and bring me some??? I'll even kiss you, I promise :smooched:
a kiss from you in exchange for coffee? I don't know...it seems like such a small price for something that's worth much, much more.

I've had guys approach me that just like dressing up in women's clothes!! Transvestite!! And they usually have a pic of themself as a woman.

I just reply and say "I'm not sharing my knickers with anyone!" :noway:

Man, you're supposed to work up to the fetish stuff, not give it away in the first email.
    Amateurs.

Wow, I was joking about the deal breaker. I thought it was clearly his cross dressing.... Unless I'm being levelled now, as well?

I was being sarcastic, the whole crossdressing thing was the deal breaker and also if wasn't a cross dresser the baggage he has with the ex would be.

I confess I want a new car, have wanted one for a couple months but was waiting for the 2014 gti to come out, but I have now put so much money into the car this year for maintainance (it went from 65k to 80k this year so new belts, tires, battery ect were all needed) that I am thinking I should stick it out longer but I want to drive something fun.

I bought a car 4.5 years ago so absent a collission or major electrical-system failure, I'll have the same car for another 10.5+ years.

I got a little '98 Mazda. It'll probably reach 180k+ in miles by mid October. I too want a new car, preferably a suv/crossover type. ( I wonder if I can reach 200k miles before the year is over....CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! )>_>

I've been getting the itch to get a new car..... Something a little bigger as the kids are getting older and carpools are inevitable. No minivans, but a third row SUV would be nice (Acadia or something similar).

Cesar - I have an Equinox and LOVE it! Just outgrowing it with the kids. But, it gets great gas mileage and drives well. I'm at about 68k miles on it and have had no issues at all.

I am waiting to see what the new 2014 ones look like but after dropping about 1700 on it this year for maintainace I feel like I need to keep it for at least 1 more year of yawn expiring driving.

I confess I watched an episode of The Big Bang Theory with two of my high-level classes today as a listening exercise. It was the single most awesome listening exercise EVER.

(I was going to watch an educational type documentary with them, but when I asked my Assistant Director what sort of topic I should use, she suggested watching an episode of Big Bang Theory instead so it was totally approved! Haha!)

I confess dropped my car off this morning and now have a loaner of a 2013 elantra and feel like I am driving a boat. Really I am one of the few people I know that prefers small cars. Why do they keep making "small" cars bigger?

My old car was a Honda Civic. I had it for 14 years. When I bought my Altima 4.5 years ago, I had a hard time parking it. I was so much bigger I couldn't judge the turnng radius or how close I was to other cars. I was given a Crown Victoria as a rental car about a year ago and it was the worse car I ever drove. The blind spots were terrible. Even the head rest caused a blind spot.

I have the 2008 elantra so same make and model as the loaner just different years. I can adjust from a small car to an suv/minivan better than I can from a small car to a bigger one.

I have an '05 Civic and love it, it has around 160K miles and I'm driving it as long as possible! Before I got it I had a hand-me-down Buick Lesabre from my grandparents. It was a beast of a vehicle, so glad I downsized.

Someone should take English lessons from me. They'd be saying "hella" a whole lot.

Haha maybe we'll get to some slang later on. First she needs to learn how to have a basic conversation before we get to that... :P

I'm kind of feeling super hot right now. There were so many seriously hot men at the fitness center smiling at me today -- maybe they were just being encouraging to the cute, chubby girl. Or maybe they were impressed that I was lifting some serious weights. Either way, it felt pretty good
