Getting engaged is overrated.My best friend from elementary school just got engaged...
they're dropping like flies. I swear I'm only 22 and half of my high school is engaged/married with kids.

I confess that I've been getting an itch to move to GA (Savannah to be specific). I don't think anything will come of it since I'd like the kids to have roots. However, I just can't get this itch to go away.0 -
I confess this talk of Vegas has me thinking a Single Peeps road trip to Vegas is in order. This is odd because I am going to Vegas and the Grand Canyon next month and really want to plan trips to other destinations this year.0

Okay..so a friend of a friend, who I have met twice previously asked if I'd like to come to a party with him on Saturday night. He is nice and we enjoyed a little mutual flirtation the last time I saw him. So, why not? Although he is seemingly a little conservative, he has been to Burning Man a few times and so wanted to go to the party because a number of the people he met through that were going to be there. I actually only know what Burning Man is very vaguely. Anyway, he put me on the guest list and we met up with his friends in advance who were all dressed in costumes ranging from a naughty school girl to cowboy (with assless chaps I saw later), fuzzy animals and the like. How fun! A dress up party.. though sadly I was not in costume. I don't actually have anything in my closet that would have fit in there anyway.
Party was in this huge old but gorgeous house with 4 floors, with all different designated rooms for stuff - basement had dj's and dancing, and there were lots and lots of conversational/floor seating areas. One room was designated "the play room", one was a massage room, and another was clearly where all the drugs were happening. Interesting to note, not a lot of alcohol at this party, but a lot of MDMA etc. (or so I was told. I literally know nothing about this and had to ask what that was). I was completely sober all evening.
As the night wore on, the clothing came off. We would be sitting in a little area off the stairs and completely nude people would be wandering up and down heading to another area. Everyone was extremely welcoming and polite and very free with the compliments. I got hit on by both men and women. Gotta love high people! Anyway.. the playroom became the place where all the action happened.. and so of course I had to find out what was happening - when am I going to get the chance to again?!
The weirdest part was that for some reason it felt completely normal to watch people being flogged by their partners (it is a bit of an art form!), being tied up in intricate knots, wearing all the leather and gear and couples having full on sex on the floor a few feet away.
To be fair, we didn't feel it was quite right to sit and watch fully clothed (apparently this is frowned upon?), so didn't stay too long and went to other areas in the house to make out all PG style. When we checked back later (as there was no real door on the playroom), it had kind of morphed into an orgy.
So yeah. Got home at 6 am. Still tired. I'm old!0 -

Oh, I am fairly vanilla myself...which is probably why it was so weird to be totally fine with everything that night. Then again, I surprise myself sometimes by being much more chill about things than I'd anticipated being. I did turn down being flogged however and kind of regret that. Just once to see what it felt like? I should have tried it!
Yeah, not going to Bermuda. LOL. Not only is my sister's wedding during that time, but I barely know the guy and am more interested in someone else.
4 date guy has turned into a few more. I don't think I've ever met anyone who can read and know me so well. Still wary of course, still not sure I even want a relationship right now..but am enjoying our time together. Taking it sort of slow....for me.0 -
