I confess I went on a date last night with a guy I've been out with a few times.
It was so nice to be with a guy who would take initiate - he held my hand, touched my leg, kissed me.
The last guy I dated was so shy, that he would do a drive by peck....
AHHHH so I get to see him again Wednesday.. Is it bad, that even though I ask about when to have sex and such, I WANT TO JUMP HIM!!! god I have no self control0 -
I confess that I found out my car is totaled but my insurance is giving me more than I thought so it's not all bad... still sad though.
Although still sad, that is nice you get a bit more money... it's nice to have money

I confess that I went from texting to talking with a man that I had met through EH last night. All has flowed right thus far. The first hour of the conversation went well and then we got on the subject of our kids school functions and how funny some of the parents looked (we're both fairly young for our middle schoolers)...about how some of the moms show up looking like they are going to the club, dad's show up in their budweiser shirts, then you have the couples that walked straight out of the 80s, etc. Anyway, it was all meant in jest and then he says "yeah and then you have these white women that show up with black men". Crickets. "It's like, I don't care if that's what you prefer, but don't throw it in my face". Again, crickets. "It's like if you're gay...don't flash it around me. Keep it at home."..... So, yeah. That's where the conversation ended and I said good night. He texted later to say good night and then this morning.... I have nothing nice to say, so I'm choosing to say nothing at all.0 -

I always wonder how people will react to my family as I have biracial nieces and I have a gay cousin.All of them I am very close to, so it fthey are not accepting-would be an issue. The guy I am talking to now--I asked him straight out, and he told me he has biracial niece and nephew so he has no issues there and the gay cousin he was fine with as well. A few weeks ago, I met a guy after we had talked a bit and I was showing him something on my phone and pics of my nieces were on the front and he mentioned....."the blonde is a cutie--the other one.....looks black" And I told him her father is black so that would make sense--but he didn't say it in a positive way--I already was not that interested, and that just made the non interest more clear.0 -

I confess I got paid today. Of course, my mortgage, car payment, student loan and credit card all get paid this week. Those payments are about $350 more than this paycheck. :noway: :sad:0

Man I am seeing just booked us a couple of nights at a resort close to Seattle. He is sending me to the spa for one morning and told me to make a list of things I need or want and to bring an extra bag.. as he wants to take me shopping.
Perhaps this is every woman's dream..but I confess not knowing what to do with this kind of generosity and being totally spoiled! Feeling the need to equal things out and give back somehow..but obviously cannot do so financially.
He is quite lovely in other ways too, however. But I don't really know how to deal with this, other than to tell him to stop spoiling me or thank him profusely. Any advice?0 -

Absolutely understand....well, sort of. I've never had a man spoil me to that extent but I've had men buy me gifts and refuse to let me pay for dates. It was a little frustrating, but it was how he showed he "cared" (his love language)....
He knows you can't afford to reciprocate financially, and doesn't expect you to.Thank him for the gifts, reciprocate in ways you can (without feeling like you are cheapening yourself). A massage, lingerie, cooking dinner, etc. Just enjoy the time with him and let him enjoy his time with you. 0 -
