today is... REST DAY! whoop whoop0

11# Game Day ! That' is the MOST fun that I have ever had working out. If you know anyone who likes sports or have kids who like sports - get them to do this ! I also did Relief because I skipped yesterday since I wasn't feeling , which was the right decision for me.I also wanted more a stretch.
I don't mean this in an arrogant or prideful way, but I'm proud of myself for sticking with it and I can FEEL my body getting stronger. Now, when I poke my stomach, I 'm a lot harder and a can feel a wall of muscle building (don't worry - LOTS of renovation still needed) . I could barely do push ups before and now I'm doing some nearly every day. I managed to do a pushup jack for the first time today and a lateral push up. It's silly things and I know that I'm still on the bottom of the totem pole;but, I'm ON the pole no and I can and WILL work myself up . Not too shabby for 11 official workouts .
Happy weekend !0 -

You got my smiling here! I can already imagine the fun you must have had! In my last round of Insanity the most fun I had was during the Max Interval Sports training. I thought they were tough but lots of fun!
YOU SHOULD BE PROUD, Asylum is no joke. You will get stronger and extend your limits! This is soooo motivating for me.
Thanks for sharing! And keep going!0 -
Today was Pure Cardio & Cardio Abs. Was not able to do the workout in the morning as usual, got frustrated over it but managed to
do it late afternoon. Now looking forward to a day of rest tomorrow!0 -

Completed Pure Cardio and Cardio Abs yesterday. Things are getting easier to do, but I still have a long way to where I want to be.0

Just started the recovery week, Day 29. I thought it was going to be really easy in the beginning, but then if you focus on tightening your core and making your form better, you do end up sweating. It really helps to show you which workouts you need to improve on. Mine are the walking planks and the alternating kicks.0

today was the start of week 4 - Pure Cardio and Cardio abs and I killed it!0

Ditto ! The better my form, the better results and the more that I feel the workout.
Well done on your workouts everyone!
Got back on the horse today! The last two days were …..stressful I only got 3-4 hours sleeps last night, so I didn't do as well as before. However, I got through it and finished the video. Oh, today was Back To Core.0 -
Day 30 today, felt much better than yesterday doing the cardio balance and core!0
-
Last night was Max Interval Circuit. I felt like I did better then I did the first couple of times. Only 11 more workouts to go till I complete the whole 90 days. Hubby and I think we will do another round, possibly another 2 rounds to get the build and lose the body fat.0

Finished Pure Cardio and Cardio Abs today. I am getting farther and farther into the videos without having to take a break and it feels good to see one of the cast drop out before I do.
I try and not look at the bar at the bottom of the screen that shows the time, but I really hate it when Shaun T yells out 30 seconds and I feel like I have been doing the exercise for 2 minutes already LOL0 -
Today was Pure Cardio & Cardio Abs, yesterday I did Plyo...
...looking forward to Cardio Recovery tomorrow!0 -
Today was Strength which is one of my favourite workouts. The better your form and sheeesh.....the better and more tiring the workout. I'm at the stage in Asylum, where it's basically every days is Relief and then in the final week you just go for it.0
-
Today I'm did Week 4 Day 2 - Cardio Power and Resistance this might be my fav one lol .... Even thou I burned only 365 cal I saw so much improvement in my push-ups made it through 2 sets of push-ups and that's HUGE FOR ME !!!!! I'm getting stronger yaay0

Day 3 with my work group so we should be doing cardio recovery. I'm not sure if anyone here is going to do it with me today or not. I might have to do it on my own.0

Today was Cardio Recovery. Needed it!
Everybody here is really doing a great job. Seeing improvements and so on...
Definitly Insane, lol...
I do miss Kotersmom on the group...come on, let's go! Don't stop. Once you've completed Insanity you'll be so happy.
I actually got emotional when I finished my 1st round, hahaha...yeah I know..0 -

Feel free to be emotional ! It's a major achievement that took determination & discipline. You've decided to take the steps to make you a healthier, happier person with a more able body - and you've done it despite not having a lot of time. You're an inspiration for the rest of us. I'm proud of you!
Well done on your workouts everyone! Just think that every time we do a workout,we're getting closer and closer to our goals.Sometimes it seems hard, but you're a lot closer than you were a week ago.
Today was Relief.
It seems like in Asylum, that from the 2 or 3rd week onwards, it's mainly 3 days that you work out, with Relief on the 4th day.In the last week, you go for it and there are 5 or 7 workouts in a row.0 -
Today was Cardio recovery...only two more days and I am finished month one. I'm so scared and yet excited for month two....but also really ready for recovery week0

Ahhh thanks!
So the last week you have to put your skills to the test, right? When I look at the video's of the Asylum I reallllly want to just jump in. Can only imagine how you must feel once you've completed.0 -

I had the same feeling when I finished the 1st month.
I think I liked to workouts more in month 2 though, I found them more fun actually. Hard yes, but fun.
And when I allmost finished month 2, I started thinking about doing another round. Thinking the 1st month was a piece of cake because I'd finished the 2nd month.
Luckely I saw an interview with Shaun T where he said that some people think that but that they will think otherwise when they restart. Boy, he was right...I still kicked my butt...hard! lol...0 -

This is the schedule until I finish:
1 Speed & Agility , 2 Vertical Plyo (vp), 3 strength, 4 relief, 5 Game Day & Overtime, 6 VP, 7 Back to Core (btc), 8 Rest, Speed & agility, 10 strength, 11 Game Day & Overtime, 12 VP, 13 BTC,14 Relief , 15 Speed & Agility , 16 Fit test. I'm skipping the fit test because I can't them properly (lack of equipment), plus, I've done extra sessions of relief. The rest day I'm adding to my TOM time,so I might be out 2 more days or so.0 -
Finished up Day 32, kept up with everything, which made me happy. The hip flexor exercises are tough but managed to stick it out through the leg extension and pulses. Ready to start Month 2!0
-
Today was Day 2 for me. Plyo Cardio. Not comfortable at all. I wanted to stop and collapsed several times but only for a few seconds at a time. Tomorrows DVD is in the machine ready to go in the morning! I woke up really sore this morning from the fit test yesterday. But I had some Advil and moved thru it.0
-
Today was Speed & Agility and probably my "lowest morale performance". Halfway through I looked at the calendar to see how many of these I had left for the month lol I think what it is, is that it's my least favourite of the videos because I have to be careful not to slip on the floor for a lot of the video. I'll make it up tomorrow, because it's VP, of which I have a "let loose the dogs war" relationship with. The plus side, poor performance or not, I have definitely improved, because before, when I hit the halfway spot, I felt one with the puddle of sweat on the floor. Now I can always finish it ! Whoopeee!0

Last day of week 2 for me. Man, that Cardio Abs is no joke--my first time doing it. Holy cow.
Gonna do my fit test tomorrow and then rest on Sunday. Whew!0
