Did 1/2 a hand stand push up this morning - quite an achievement for someone who had a real fear of doing a handstand :blushing:

4.5 months into CrossFit and I scored my first DU last week. Not stringing any together yet, but hopefully by the end of the summer.
As for lifts, we've been doing one 1RM a week. Last week it was Back Squat (163 lbs) and this week Front Squat (155), that's +30 and +32 lbs respectively for those PRs. I also PR'd my deadlift this week at 205 lbs (6x3), but it wasn't a 1RM.0 -

Got pr of 515 lbs on dl,225 lbs push press and 205 lbs clean and jerk0

I tackled Fran for the first time today! She literally kicked my butt! Almost 10 hours later and I'm exhausted! But I finished! Bands on pullups and just the 30# bar, but I finished in 9:38 without puking!0

My toes actually tapped the bar today. A T2B? Me? I was shocked. Only 1 in each set of 5 (3 rounds), but I'm still happy.0

Completed my first RX today, Hanging Cleans and Burpees , 135LBS 15 Burpees 3 rounds
First time doing Press Jerk, 165, 175, 185lbs for 3 (could have done more but got a little scared)0 -

I had a GREAT week last week,
Increased by "Crossfit Total" by whopping 85KG since November, got my first DU (proving hard to replicate but will keep trying) and got a bit of progress on my walk walk, so aiming to get "nose to wall" by the end of the summer

Maybe not a big deal to some, but i've done S2 on the last 2 days of WODs. It makes a change from always going straight to the S3 scaling option. I'm sure it won't last when we start lifting heavy again, but for gymnastic stuff, box jumps, rowing, kettlebells etc, I'm not taking the easiest option. Yay!0

Last night we did an escalating WOD
Press 10 reps
Overhead Squat 15
Push Press 20
Front Squat 25
Jerk Press 30
Back Squat 35
I was last (as usual) but once I did 10 back squats I realized I still had some gas in the tank so I took a break (bar still on shoulders) and did the last 25 in one set.
I then laid down on the mat for a couple of minutes so I wouldn't die. My barbell and weights were gone by the time I recovered. Will be paying that one forward somehow Wednesday.0 -

Got 20" box jumps for the first time and used them in a WOD for a full 50 reps!

Today we did tire flips. There is one tire called "THE MAN TIRE" There are bigger tires, but THE MAN TIRE is the heaviest. We flipped it for 30 meters. My time was 1:18, Only one person beat me with 1:11. Here is the Kicker. I am 43, He is 26, He is a Coach and Competes, I am a regular guy. Chalk up one for the 40+ Crossfit Athletes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0

First time posting in the group. First time I've felt worthy lol. :P
I've been crossfitting for about 2 months now and last night I PR'd my dead lift at 185 and also completed my first lifting WOD at the RX weight! Yay for small victories.0 -

Did Fran last night in 12:30. My previous time was 19:30 so I beat my old time by a long shot. Used 65# for thrusters and did kip pullups. I love benchmark days!0
