Funny how many of you gals hate shopping. I love shopping in general....clothes, shoes, furniture, wall paper, gifts, home improvement. I just don't have enough of the cash flow to support the love.

Felt good to be pole dancing tonight. I moved from the chair dancing class to the one with all pole moves. It's very difficult for me to execute a lot of the moves and especially to not stab myself or another with the heel of the shoe.

Hope that my extra shift gets cancelled tomorrow and I can go to barre yoga for some good stretching and sweat. I do love that class.

    Monday, 0

    I've missed my lushy peeps!!

I love shopping, in general, it's soothing to me to wander the mall, touching things and hunting for a bargain. I don't like when it is crowded, though, that can be very frustrating. I also don't like the kiosks in the middle with all those "hard-sellers" trying to get your to try their lotion or hair straightener or something.
I got two 0s in a row! will it be three? we'll see...

Drinks Friday night at dinner and home to celebrate husbands birthday which was Saturday. Yeah 4/20, can't tell you how many people say wow awesome birthday when they see his license and he doesn't even smoke haha. Did the tasting menu at Cavey's on Saturday for his real birthday dinner, split two bottles at dinner then had drinks when we got home. Sunday was beer then last night more beer out with friends. Probably wine tonight. I worked out 5 days last week and yesterday and will get a bike ride in today as well  Ordered some bathing suits from Victoria's Secret that came yesterday so that was some good motivation. Gloomy day here and I must have slept weird because my neck is killing me so I'm catching up on shows in between laundry with the heating pad on.

I never understood bro going screaming Mimi's (kids) to a big mall. There is a small play area in our mall for them and it's horrible, so much screaming :noway: I love to shop but not when the mall is super busy. Going during the week is best because there are usually no kids including teenagers and most people are at work so it's quiet and you can casually browse

Yes, Amy, bargain hunting is the best.

Kat, I think I must have missed what the plates on the vehicle say? I must say that working weekends does do some good when you are off during the week.

Tonight, I am going to hot yoga. Dance class was killer last night and I realize how un-limber I am. Right arm is killing me to today from trying to hang onto a pole when all my body wants to do is slide down.

Major snow storm last night. I drove home in a white out. I don't even remember going over the huge bridge that divides MN & WI. That's how bad visibility was. Today, most of it's melted. I am dying for warm weather!!

I don't like shopping - as in browsing, if I am in the store I want to get what I need and get the heck out. I consider shopping for clothes to be like going to the dentist.

Unless, well, if I am in a "man store", ie tools etc, then its ok to browse... Or, a liquor store, its ok to browse those too.

Second day of vacation, we are at a KOA outside of Boise. Tomorrow be near Provo Ut.

    Later lushes!

Vehicle? And I can't imagine driving in whiteout conditions, must be scary :ohwell:

Ryze- it is definitely ok to browse in a package store  I love to browse in Lowes too

Kat, I read license as license plate :blushing:

Gary, LOL - when we moved back from Germany, hubs went to Home Depot and just stood there smelling it - slightly strange but I feel that way about leather purses. Hope you are having a great time on va'cay.

Robin, have fun on your weekend away.

All right, having some tea and off to bed. I'm done with hot yoga and calling it a day. I love barre but think I def might switch it up with the hot yoga.

Bottle of white before dinner. No food in stomach, no real memory after I finally had a salad for dinner. :blushing:

Tonight is laundry and packing I am starting to get excited about trip. Paycheck was about $150 short and that totally sux but I will do what I can.

I love to browse when I am in the mood. I HATE crowds so I just don't go to real stores very often anymore unless I can find a time it isn't too crowded. But, man, can I kill a ton of time shopping online.

Robin, we all pick and choose our calories here very carefully...and sometimes it just works out to be booze before food...that's what it is.

    Off to barre yoga..................

couldn't say no last night, drinking alone! I started with a corona mixed with the frozen margarita in a bucket I had leftover from a party two weeks ago, then 2 bud lights (to save those 40 calories over corona!)

I had about an ounce of wine Monday, so i don't count that. Last night I had 12 ounces (= 2 glasses) of rose'. I'll probably have a couple glasses tonight at dinner, but gotta keep it tame. I have a big meeting tomorrow night. Presenting in front of maybe up to 100 or more people. :noway: Thursday after the meeting, it's on. Off work Friday.

    HELLO my wonderful lushy pals!!!!!!!
I am back from my awesome vacation and it was...well AWESOME!!!! We stayed active everyday, ate well and drank our faces off!! I wish Hawaii wasn't so damn far the plane rides were no fun and I am still having some jet lag effects BUT I can not complain about anything!

We left 2:30 saturday afternoon and got home sunday morning and drank the entire way home because we 1) thought it would help us sleep...which it didn't and 2) because we had a car service picking us up from the airport. I was surprisingly sober by the time we got home. We didn't drink the rest of the day and crashed after being up for about 36hrs. We took monday off to recoup and get the house back in order, we had 2 1/2 beers.
Last night I had a glass of white wine and tonight I will have more  I am not really trying to abstain at the moment, but I will try and practice some moderation!

Missed you all and look forward to reading through the tread to catch up!!!

So happy you're back sweets! And that you had a wonderful time  I usually drink before and on the plane, I hate flying :indifferent:

Well it is 70 here and I have all the windows open airing the house out and have gotten some good spring cleaning done. Just had a snack and about to go hop on the bike then relax the rest of the night

    Monday-2 1/2 beers
    Tuesday-5oz of white wine
Wednesday-10oz of white and 2oz of mango vodka with sprite zero.
There will most likely be something tonight as well. My body is still adjusting to the jetlag so I haven't been able to get up for my morning workouts. I think I will just take the rest of the week off and get back to it next week as well as jump back on the wagon!!
Len and I are going to a show tomorrow night downtown, which is cool BUT the show doesn't start until 10pm, WTF. I hope I'm still awake

Geez, it's only been 3 days.

I went to work today and wasn't on the schedule. Apparently, I discussed a trade with someone that went thru and no on told me. Now, I have to work the weekend and get today off. It will be a good ending for the month perhaps.

I didn't track the weekend and had a marathon day - so, I should be around 40 for the month. That seems like such a big number when in fact it could be so much worse.

pounded the vodka last night. :blushing:

Welcome back Kate. Part of the reason Doug and I like to fly first class is because the booze flows freely and quickly. And in real glasses.:drinker: Its my perk for paying my dues all those years of struggling to barely get by and doing travel on the incredible cheap. Now I splurge.

I should really probably try to give my liver a break today since this weekend will be way way toooooo much. EAT, DRYNKE AND BE MERRIE!!!!!!!

Robin, we actually upgraded to first class for the flight from Dallas to Philly. We had such a long miserable overnight flight (8hrs) from hawaii to dallas, we couldn't bare the thought of sitting in those crappy seats for another 3hrs, so we paid 135bucks per person...it was totally worth it. I fear I maybe spoiled

2 glasses of wine at dinner and then about 2 ounces when I got home. Husband drank some of my 2nd glass at dinner so I count that as 2. I feel like it was more. I'm dragging @ss today. After my night hearing I will want to drink. I'll probably go straight to the liquor store after. Minimal tomorrow as I'm running my mini marathon Saturday. I can run hungover, but not 13.1.

I can easily polish off a bottle of wine, makes me think of the Cougar Town episode where she says "they say you can get 4 glasses of wine out of a bottle but I only get about 1 and a half" or something along those lines haha.

I'll be having something in a bit just not sure what!
