    W7D3 today. Attempted it Thursday but just couldn't make my brain shut up so I gave up after 1.9 miles. Finished today though.

    Week 5 run 1 this morning. A bit windy, but apart from that, weather was fine. The run seemed quite easy after last week. I hadn't realised until last week that this week each run would be different. Not looking ahead to run 2 until I get there!! Feeling good!

    This 68 year old just finished W3day1. Not bad. Made it all the way. Invigorating!

    @mack427 you are doing great. there is also a group for the B210k if you want to join
    @Six5 I had a "brain" day today. It kept telling me to stop. those end weeks are tough
    @sarahredhaira good strategy. I didn't look ahead either. that way I couldn't talk myself out of it
    @vicky1947mfp keep it up :)

    This is my third attempt at the program. I keep mentally defeating myself I believe thinking there is no way I can run that far. But, W2D1 is in the books!

    @Trent1612000 can you do something to distract your brain?
    I put 1 earbud in and listen to music. I usually sing the lyrics in my head and I am less like to tell myself that I can't do it

    hello there,
    I'm w1d3 of the C25K and I'm trying to motivate a coworker to do it with me. I've always disliked running but I feel like it's a cheap and effective way to get my cardio in, and then I can weight train a couple of days a week with the trainer. This program is also not very daunting, so I'm fairly motivated to finish it instead of just giving up and going back to bad habits.

    Speaking of bad habits, I'm angry I've let myself get this out of shape, eating poorly and drinking entirely too much alcohol. I'm weaning off the alcohol, counting my calories and making an effort to do something healthy for MYSELF.

    Last two months were hectic for me. I did not run at all, ate mindlessly and gained 15 lbs... :(
    I went running today - though I would not be able to run more than 10 minutes and wondered if I need to start with c25k again, but surprisingly I did 5k non-stop. I was slow and it was not easy. But it was not impossible! :) I am actually happy - I plan to start running again and hope to get back to 140 lbs soon :)

    Hey I'm here, had to have a break of a month as I overdid it and nearly killed my shins back up and running again for the last 3 weeks and I've now made it to 5k taking 40 1/2 minutes.
