    Feeling really good after this weekend and today. I upped my calories to 1400 and I feel content, but there's a little demented diet voice inside that's tormenting me ever so slightly saying I'll never lose anything eating that much. I don't care. I wanna try this b/c I'm sick of eating nothing and losing lots only to regain it right back in a second. As the saying goes, insanity is doing something over and over again the same way and expecting a different result.

    As always I'm thankful to the group for being here and having me.

    You can lose weight on 1400 don't worry!! If you exercise I am sure you will have enough of a calorie deficit to lose.

    Still doing great but a little worried about this weekend. I'm going out of town, and that's when most of my binges occur. I will not let the binge take me over!

    Thanks for the reply. I'm so lazy and I don't exercise, BUT the weather is finally getting nicer so maybe that can be more of a motivation to get moving.

    On 1400, it would only take 30 minutes of exercise a day to bring someone's net into a potentially unhealthy number. Most can eat 1400 + at least half of their exercise calories and lose weight. It is keeping calories to unrealistic numbers that can lead to issues with binging in the first place. The body does not like it and will do what it can to bring back balance.

    MUCH better today, plus I processed yesterday's binge with my therapist today, which helped immensely. Tomorrow I will write about what I learned. Met with a trainer for the first time tonight, so I'm too wiped out to do it tonight. Squats are evil, LOL!

    i'm including today, April 9...hopefully not jinxing myself, as there are still a few more hours before I go to bed, and for some reason, binges always happen right around bedtime for me.

    Last week;

    Me : 4
    Binge : 3

    This week;

    Me : 2
    Binge : 0 (yay)

    Over all;

    Me : 6
    Binge : 3

    I would love it if the binge stays at 3 this month, or, as a smaller goal, to stay at 0 this week.

    I am strangely calm about food right now...maybe I have been away from junk food for long enough to have my body no longer crave it?? If I get really stressed about something, I can see myself finding some garbage food to numb out on, but without a big stress, I feel pretty free of the binge urge. Of course, life can't be stress free for long, can it?

    Really happy because I almost lost it yesterday, but powered through...feels like more of an achievement than the days where it hasn't been a problem at all :)
