Leslie Sansone May 2013 Walk Challenge

WELCOME! Today is a new month and a new challenge!

This group is open to any and all walkers, the majority of us use Leslie Sansone Walk At Home workouts, but those great walks outside or on the treadmill, as well as other Walk DVDs, count too. However you get your walk in, join us!

We are a positive, supportive group, and I promise that this challenge will motivate, challenge, as well as inspire you!

Set your goal for how many miles you want to walk, indoors or outside, this month. Post your results daily, weekly, however you like.

If you find this group in the middle of the month it doesn't matter which day of the month that you join in. Just set your goals to reflect what you want to walk for the remaining days. You are always welcome!

So tie up those shoes and get some water, and let's start walking!

    Hi! I just joined MFP a couple days ago and did my first walk with leslie sansone today. I did 3 miles and it felt great. I'm setting a goal for 60 miles this month, but I'm hoping to motivate myself to do more!

    Sticking with doing 10 a day, or 310 miles for the month of May.

    Goal for May: 50 combined miles

    So far: 5 Leslie/ other walking DVD miles

    So far: 1.5 outdoor miles

    OK...I admit...I stated that I was joining this Leslie Sansone challenge in April and I did not do any miles. However, I just started the DVD's a few days ago and I really like them. Sooooo...will start in the morning:)

    30 or more miles for May in combination with my strength/toning workouts. Weather is finally so nice, so most of my miles will probably be outdoors!

    I missed out on the April challenge thanks to moving, but I'm ready to get back into the swing of walking with Leslie.

    I'm changing my goal! I'm doing Hip Hop Abs this month and taking spinning classes twice a week, so I'm just going to do 5 miles a day, or 155 total, walking this month. So:

    Goal for May: 155 miles
    To date: 15 miles
    Left: 140 miles

    My goal is 115 miles.
    That's 5 miles for every weekday this month.

    Ann, welcome back after your moving, which of course was a workout in itself!!

    supplemama, that was a good idea to reevaluate your exercise/ walking needs, and to tailor it to what you are doing this month. Good for you!!

    It is always interesting to read which DVDs (Leslie's or otherwise) that everyone is using on any particular day. It is always good to see if there might be another DVD that might fit into one's collection :laugh: .

    Yay! Didn't think I'd get any walking today, but still managed. We just bought a new place so I'm still busy cleaning and unpacking. I'm sure I got quite the workout scrubbing the dirty walls! Anyways, so far:
