Krispy Crème Lemon filled Donuts~~~Yummy
Well it's a good job I don't like donuts, more for you hope you enjoy them0 -
Krispy creme donuts are gross!!
I have somewhat of a plan mapped out. Its not a 6 miles run but its better than nothing. I am going to take dd1 to swim. Come home and walk ds to his carpool pick-up (0.5 miles from home) then do a loop that takes me home (4 miles if I give in to starbucks; 5 miles if I resist). Even if I get my green tea, I still have to walk the last mile home. All said and done (walk + run) will be 5.6 miles. This should get me home in time to pick up dd1. Dh is going to drive dd2's carpool.0 -

Thursdays positive affirmation:
“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”

QOTD: Will you ever be happy with your body?
I don't think I will. I have been 5lbs thinner (lowest) and a lot heavier and I have never been happy. Every morning when I look in the mirror I have to remind myself that these big thigh can take me 13.1 miles. That is good enough.
On another note AF showed and my nose stopped working again.0 -

Hey My Loves!!!!
It's Trick or Treat Thursday!!!! Happy Halloween
QOTD: If you care to share what was your favorite Halloween moment?
For me it was actually 3 years ago my daughter was tinkerbell. We went to Jersey and celebrated the day with my sister and her family because they do it big out there. Parades and everything, but the funniest part was my daughter had sooooooooo much candy so started doing snow angels in the pile of candy. We all laughed so hard I have never seen a kids eyes light up so much. Of course I didn't let her eat all of that candy, if I did I think she would still be sick lol....

Unfortunately, this week it is core reps only so your Monday and Wednesday reps can't count. Did you do any stretching or stairs ? (you can't double dip this part so you can't use Tuesday's workout)... I have log these as 0 on the chart but if it is any different please let us know, thx
@ ALL
Please make sure you read the weekly challenge in FULL and make sure you aim for at least the minimum required each week, as the weeks go on it gets harder to stay in the elimination part of the challenge as you are against basically the best of the best.or as Sheri likes to call them the hard-cores0 -
My favourite Halloween year was about four years back, I'd made loads of fun foods and we had a starter of "blood" soup it was my HM tomato soup but still to this day my lad calls it blood soup.... I also that year made a green ice hand which floated in the punch (used a latex free glove filled with coloured pop, tied it off and froze) the kids loved it.0

@Kelly - Sorry haven't been helping much with the logging the past couple of days, it's been crazy around here what with one thing and another...
As for Hallowe-en, that was a new one for me when we moved from the UK, as back then we didn't really do anything other than duck apple night and of course Bonfire Night on the 5th November. So it was very bizarre moving to Canada and being told you went door to door and people gave you sweeties! After years of being told to never accept sweets from strangers! Then I developed asthma and allergies and it was always too cold for me to go out. So my Dad would always make a big fuss in the house and dress up for me, my Mum would make something sweet and tasty that I could have and even back then as a little girl I was able to appreciate everything they did to make the day fun for me...

Roasted Veggie's
This is my go to;
1/2 head cauliflower
2 bunches broccoli
olive oil
pepper
smoked paprika
season to your taste
425 for 45 minutes
this really crunchy and delish
salt if you choose, too
I made lostgurl55's roasted veggies tonight. Simple and awesome! I used cauliflower, since that's what I had. I am not used to cooking raw vegetables, so this roasting was eye-opening. Thanks!0 -

Happy Fabulous Friday!!!!!!!
QOTD: If you care to share name something that makes you feel fabulous, it can be a shade of lipstick, nail polish color, anything that makes you feel great!!!
For me I love when I do a black smokey eye with red lipstick lol... I feel both mysterious and bold and the same time. Going to a Karaoke bar tonight think I may just do that look.
"I don't find time to exercise, I make the time to exercise." - I saw this and it fit perfectly for this week cause we killed it!!!!
Friday- November 1st (time is flying)
weigh in- 180.6
stretching- 8 mins
reps- 100 crunches
Questions about stairs- Do we count the stairs we have done for the whole week and then do our bonus points or is it day by day. For example if I did 150 tues, 150 wed, if done by day you only have 10 pts, but if done by week you would have 15pts.0 -
Don't count your stair points, in with the weekly totals... on the chart there is specific cells for the bonus points, for all weeks.. so just log the steps and Gillian or I will convert to points after today's deadline and input the points on the chart, same goes for the recipe making 25 points.
The steps are over the week, so if you did 150 all days (6) for 900 stairs that would be 45 points for the week, if you do between a number for example you do 867 for the full week, we have to round it down to 800 as we can only award points for muliples of a 100 although the stairs could be done in 25s (hope I haven't confused you more)
Just to let you know you are at 784 stairs for the week, so if you do 0 today we'd have to round it to 700 and you get 35pts
Dar is at 550
Shelly is at 800
Gillian has got over the target
Twinmom is at 450
I'm over target
Izzie is at 100 but only logged Sunday so far.0 -
I was looking at the pics and this was the hand, when I got it out and took off the glove... I can't seem to find one with it actually in the punch
