    I participated in this contest last spring and got about 80 days with no binges. Then I took a trip and got off track. I continued to binge, but exercised more than the calories I ate, and reached my goal weight in spite of myself. Now I am trying to maintain and all I want to do is binge. I am competitive, so now I have returned to the site that helped me and I want to keep the Binge Monster at bay. (I accept that I may never be entirely free from binging, but if I can lessen the occurrences I would be grateful.) I am tired of this cycle of binging and exercising. I want a life of moderate eating and moderate exercising, so that I can do other things than focus on food.

    This is my goal too and I have accepted that binging is something to manage like any alcoholic. It is my opinion I will always have they urges and I have to find a way to keep them at bay 80%+ of the time. If I get to be binge free then that is good too but I am being very realistic since food is a big part of our lives and society uses it to celebrate, mourn, etc. Unlike the alcoholic we still have to eat.:ohwell:
