I participated in this contest last spring and got about 80 days with no binges. Then I took a trip and got off track. I continued to binge, but exercised more than the calories I ate, and reached my goal weight in spite of myself. Now I am trying to maintain and all I want to do is binge. I am competitive, so now I have returned to the site that helped me and I want to keep the Binge Monster at bay. (I accept that I may never be entirely free from binging, but if I can lessen the occurrences I would be grateful.) I am tired of this cycle of binging and exercising. I want a life of moderate eating and moderate exercising, so that I can do other things than focus on food.

Yesterday I binged on 10 small items. They were sugar-free and low-calorie, but at work I ate all that were left in the bag. They didn't put me over my daily calories, but a binge is a binge. I have to be honest with myself so that next time I am tempted I will know that I am giving my point away to the binge monster, no matter how few calories the item has.
I am in the maintenance stage of weight loss and it is much more difficult psychologically than losing was. I am not as willing to do the same level of exercise, nor to cut back on my food, as I was with a single goal number in sight. Now, in TOPS, I have a leeway of 3 pounds above my goal weight and 7 pounds below it. Obviously, I want to be below my goal weight so that I'm in a safer zone, but the compensating I have to do after a binge is not what I feel like doing as much as I did going toward goal weight.
I weigh-in tonight and I thanked God this morning that my weight is in a good place. I ate little last night and went to bed early to cut down on the time I had to think about food.
