    I'm in!

I didn't go to the gym on my three day weekend but I was digging holes for a new fence my husband and I are building and I think I worked harder than I ever do on the weight machines. I lost 3 pounds over those days so I guess it really did help. I wish I could figure out how much yard work burns but either way I'm happy. ^_^

Not much today cause I'm still sore from yesterday's bike ride. Just a short 10 minute walk after work on the way to school.

Karen, Thank you for starting this challenge. Just what I needed.

May 1: I posted this as 20 minutes of dog walking. Actually the goats got out of the pen and I was chasing them around to catch them and get them back in the pen.

    May 2: Gardening 60 minutes
    May 3- Dancing 10 minutes
    May4-Housecleaning 20 minutes
May5- Walked around several stores while shopping approximately 30 minutes, then went out to a farm to buy plant starts and walked around the farm for about 30 minutes. It was beautiful although I could have done without the rain.
May 6-Walked around the grocery store, vacuumed the house and chased my grandkids. Not sure how many minutes this added up to but it was definitely more than five.

Ankle is totally pissed at me and my hubby is preparing a cold bath for it. I busted it back in January and only in the past 3 weeks have been able to walk around 24/7 without a cane. So it's still strained in the tendons.

Spent an entire hour and a half on my feet in a meeting walking and standing combo. Then after work head to the mall to pick up my new shoes and shopping for new dress pants for him. So about an hour of walking there.

I really stretched myself this week by teaching water aerobics to the women gathered at my friend's timeshare in Vermont. I just put together bits and pieces of the classes I've been taking at the Y and did a good mix of cardio, toning, and flexibility work for 45 minutes. I had them all gasping for breath at times and groaning, which was great, and after her first time, one of the women asked if I teach water aerobics back home. What a compliment! If I can be mistaken for an aerobics instructor at 470+ pounds, imagine what I'll accomplish at a healthy weight!!!

No 5 minutes of exercise today. It was just way to hectic and mind numbing at work. I did take the stairs at work though instead of the elevator whenever I had to change floors.
