Hello fellow walkers! I had no idea there was a group on here and I am thrilled to join in. Last week I celebrated 200 miles walking. I combine my Leslie DVDs with walking outside. Weather permitting I power walk 4 miles minimum at sunrise. When kept inside I use my DVDs. For mothers day my son gifted me the 30 Day Walk off collection and I love it. May is about over but I commit to walking 20 miles.
Welcome PinkyPan1! After I read your post last night I realized to reach my goal of 100 I have another 23.5 miles and with you doing the 20 commit well it egged me on girl. :happy: We can do it!
Just finished 3 with Leslie for 79.5 and the day is just beginning- and the sun is shining!
Zichab you are within range let's push it out!
Texasgardnr my "dumb" phone died and my son could not have been happier for me to get a "smarter" phone. I'm on a bit of a learning curve lol but I am loving the apps- Zichab has hers humming and I am getting it together.

I wasn't able to get my usual walk in yesterday but did manage 0.76 mile. Only 2.38 miles to reach my goal! :happy:

Goal for May: 40 miles, Continuing an emphasis on strength and outdoor minutes will change my usual mileage from previous months.
So far: 41.5 Leslie/ or other walking DVD miles
So far: 380 outdoor walking minutes
One more day in May to go :noway: . Let's do it :laugh: .
This month sure seemed to go by pretty fast ~ for me.

Walked 5.9 miles today. So in total I have walked 178 miles in May. Not bad considering that my goal was to go 0.6 miles per day, that is I surpassed my goal by 956 %. Well I guess that's the power of mini habits.
I can't wait for the June Walk Challenge.

Woohoo!! Happy dance here folks! I did not include the dancing in the mileage here but honestly this was a blast.
Had I not done this challenge, I would never have walked this many miles in May, so I am thrilled with the results.
Thanks to each of your for writing in sharing your challenges, goals and insights. It made all the difference for me.
Just knowing that others are out there pushing forward, well it was fun to be a part of the challenge.
Kudos to those who met and/or surpassed their goals! Fantastic!
To those of us who kept up with the challenge but didn't meet the goal set well guess what, tomorrow is the first of June. Yippee! A new day. A new month.

Last day of May. Where has this month gone? I have enjoyed walking with you all and reading everyone's progress.
Last night I was able to add a little bit more to my mileage. This evening I walked 3.60 miles outside. My goal for May was 110 miles. I walked a grand total of 116.06 miles this month! This group has pushed me to walk more than I ever thought possible. I look forward to next month.

well I walked 4 miles tonight bringing my total to 52 miles. my goal was 50. I think I can up my number for next month. But I am still proud of the good start.0

Hello all!
I didn't record my last LS walk, but I did end up doing 16 LS miles for the month of May (my goal was 15 LS miles) as well as walking in general and being more active. I also managed to increase time on my bike. I'm proud of my progress so far...
On to June!0
