Back in school today feeding all those hungry munchkins & it was HOT!!!!
Got in a 4 mile speed walk this evening when the temp dropped!
My back just does not seem to feel better! I have not ran for a LONG time nor have I done any kick @ss workouts thinking that maybe biking would heal me but it's not. I have seen the chiro twice this week plus I have tried LOW doses of muscle relaxer & still it hurts.:sad: I HAVE to do something or the weight will pour on!!!

Added 5.2 miles for a total of 17 miles--I think. It's harder to keep track without the ticker. I'm hoping to get caught up a bit over the next few days--a lot of medical appointments this month for my family has made it harder to get the exercise time. :ohwell: Too bad I can't bring a portable mini-treadmill for the long wait times0

VHUBER – So sorry your back is still giving you trouble. Are you doing any light exercises to help strengthen it? Like upward dog or cobra poses, “supermans” or gentle “bridge” poses with one foot up in the air (look them up on youtube if you don’t know what these are)? What about a foam roller, and just lying there in a way that feels like it’s putting sufficient pressure on the muscles but not so much pressure that you’re just tensing up in pain. I don’t know if these things would be good for you, but maybe worth a try?

Woke up this afternoon (after working last night) with some stomach issues. Kept my hair appt (nothing gets in the way of coloring the grays) but wasn't up to much moving my *kitten*. I walked 2 miles, slower than normal - the 90 degree heat didn't help. Taking it easy now and will get back out tomorrow.
