Me too Coach, even when I try to talk myself out of it, I remember our team and make myself do it. I always feel so much better when I workout in the morning, so much more awake!

It is still pretty cold here in New Yuck. Real feel of 20 during the day and 1 at night. Still beats last week's -14! 60 would be a total heatwave!

Oh, I want a three day weekend too, no fair :'( lol

I do have a 4 day weekend next week though. My husband's birthday is Thursday so we are taking Thursday and Friday off together. I make him Peking Duck every year (although I don't like it), it is time consuming and makes a mess of the kitchen, lots of cleanup, but it has become a tradition here and he is worth it <3

Now, back to cleaning the house, great way to burn more calories ~ Happy Saturday, enjoy your long weekends. Although I do plan on seeing you in class Monday! B)

HIIT 15 and Tone 30 to start the week. Not much of a calorie burner, fortunately, I have a bunch of shop work to do tomorrow, that will get my calorie burn up!

    Happy Sunday!

I'm not looking forward to tomorrow's workout as well. I may have to add a late evening walk to amp it up a bit.

I don't get to check mfp very often. I live in Fresno, CA with my husband and our two high energy boys. My husband and I will be married for 10 years this year. My boy are 8 and almost 5. We have one fur baby. She is min pin and chihuahua. I am resource specialist teacher and I work with students in grades 4-6. I also am the PTA treasurer for my son's school and volunteer at church. So, my life is pretty crazy busy, but I love it! When my boy's were younger I discovered turbo kick and a gym that I belonged to. We ended our membership when we moved and I got turbo fire. I got to week 6 the first time. This time I'm going all the way. I love the support that this group gives. Oh, and my real name is Diana.

How do you guys not wake up the whole house in the morning? I love mornings and I'm very productive but my boyfriend has to be at work after me and the living room is right outside our bedroom door. I have missed some workouts because I got too busy at night. I want to switch to mornings but don't know if it is possible.

Great to hear from you Diana. Check in when you can, we'll be here. :) I agree with you about the supportive group. I look forward to this board each day.

Snowdancer, it doesn't matter how much noise I make. My wife is a light sleeper and says I wake her up just by rolling out of bed and getting dressed no matter how quiet I try to be. I also let the dogs out and they start barking so she has no choice. Luckily, she gets up soon after and starts her day.

It was an unbelievable weekend. It started off very innocent. We took my youngest son on a college tour. Bonus, all the walking on the tour. We were 45 minutes from Chimney Rock, NC and drove there. Went to the top and walked around. Some of the trails were closed due to icy conditions but there are steps you can take to get to various points. On the way home I blew it. We stopped off at the Beacon Drive In, which has been on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives. I ate a Chili Cheeseburger A Plenty and Sweet Tea. The burger speaks for itself. The "A-plenty" is a healthy portion of onion rings AND fries piled on top. The onion rings are very good. I was thankful I did HIIT 25 that morning and walked all day but was I feeling that meal.

I am looking forward to getting back to school so I can establish this routine once and for all. We don't have any days off until March. I hope you all have a great day and week!

I have the same problem snowdancer. I get up before everyone else but as soon as I start my workout my kids or my husband wake up. That's why I usually just work out after my husband gets home from work.

Hi Diana, glad to meet you. Stop in when you get a chance.

My husband and I both get up at 5 am, so I don't have to be quiet. He gets to listen to Turbo Jam or Turbo Fire music while he eats his breakfast. I hear him laughing at some of Charlene's comments, his favorite comment is "bring your knees up to your face" lol

Sounds like a great day Coach, a treat now and then is okay. I wish I had not read that right before lunch though, my home made beef and broccoli doesn't look as appetizing now lol

Fire 45 EZ is on for tomorrow ~ see you then!

I was going to try to wake up early and do HIIT 20. Well I accidentally slept in and when I did finally woke up my butt is soooo sore. Looks like I'm doing it after work today.

That does sound like a good day coach! Though I think Amy is nuts, beef and broccoli sounds amazing to me right now! :p

I'm the light sleeper in our household so me getting up early doesn't affect my husband at all. He used to sleep right through me jumping all over the place. I did start to rub off on him though, so he gets up at 5:00 with me and works out now.

For having a nice long 3 day weekend I feel like it wasn't a very good one. I did get to spend time with some family I hadn't seen in a while so that was awesome. <3 Then, my husband found the hard way not to trust me with plumbing yesterday. All I did was touch the pipes under the sink and they fell off.... I"m not even kidding. He had to take off work early and come fix them. All he could say was, "well, that shouldn't have happened." Haha. It was interesting to say the least.

Why does that stuff always happen when our husbands are not there to see that it really wasn't our fault??

I love my beef and broccoli, but would trade it for fries and onions rings, just because!

Argh...my cravings for salty and crunchy foods got the better of me! It isn't even 1 o'clock and I have just about reached my calorie limit for the day.

Oh no, what is the backup plan? I hate hungry days like that!

Oh no, what is the backup plan? I hate hungry days like that!

My backup plan included a couple extra trips up and down the stairs at work and home. I knocked out Fire 30 and Sculpt 30 but it wasn't easy...

Great work Lexi, way to save the day

2˚ here this morning, this is a bitter cold winter. At least we are not getting much snow!

Woo Hoo Lexi! That's one way to take care of the calories from a day-gone-wrong.

Amy, you will think I'm crazy but I wish it would snow here.. We haven't had much and I'm really worried about spring and summer if we don't get much moisture now. Not to mention it's too warm now and the bugs/snakes think it's time to come out already! :( I want it to be cold and snow to get rid of some of them before it warms up again.... It's been in the 40's and 50's here. That's crazy for January.

Julia, I will gladly send you any and all snow that tries to fall here! But you have to keep your snakes please. We get so much rain anymore that we really do not need feet of snow for the ground water. Last year the fields were flooded way past the time the farmer's needed to get out there and plant.

Thanks ladies! It is snowing here and my students are wondering if we will have a delay in the morning.

We had a two hour delay last week because it was 20 degrees. If we get snow that's almost an automatic 2 days.

I'm ready for the weekend. My new position at the alternative school is very challenging. I enjoy working with the students, but there are so many things and people to deal with. Paperwork is not my friend and dealing with the adults, counselors and therapist is quite tiring. I am a doer not a talker. I feel we have to work with young people not talk to them. Obviously, sometimes you have to sit them down, but they have been talked to death their entire young lives. We need to give them something pertinent. Anyway, I am enjoying the challenge and trying to make a difference.
