    Hi everyone,

    I have not been on the site since 2013 and not sure I am posting correctly. I have had BED since age 4 and am now 54. I have had many years binge free but the last 10+ years I have really been struggling. I have been to several treatment centers for food addiction/binging and purging and drug and alcohol addiction. I have over 26 years free from drugs and alcohol and apply the 12 steps to my BED/food addiction in addition to many other things. Today will be my first day on this support group thread. I commit today to use all my coping skills to not binge today. I have planned my meals and have everything available listed on my food plan today.

    I think that totally counts! Sometimes stopping in the middle is harder than not starting at all.

    can't believe I hold on! still almost bingeing yesterday, the difference is that even if I ate very and too much I succeed to stop and also seeing that binge is not what I really want, keep holding guys!

    Thank you! I have been struggling really bad to stay on track this week - nearly shakey to avoid going to the store and grabbing all my binge foods. Avoiding stores altogether is helping, but I will need to go eventually.. (I'm stocked up on healthy foods at the moment.)

    Got on the scale today and was up almost 4 lbs. That is motivation for me to do better!
