Adding .9 from a dog walk to other night.
Thanks for the well wishes, a rest is for sure in order! We are camping now so no actual intentional exercise, but plenty of walking around :)

Kept my word and went to the gym for the extra treadmill run/walk intervals and then lifting after. I managed to run even more of the time tonight, but still needing the short walk breaks every 6 mins or so. But I'm getting there!!

Good job! Can you now tell that breathing is easier & would all the clots be dissolved by now in your lungs? I hope so!!
I did notice a big improvement after only 2-3 days on the thinners. The clots were supposed to have been dissolved fairly quickly by then. Now the progress of increasing my cardio capacity again is MUCH slower, unfortunately.

Oop I just missed the update. Oh well, I'll only be green for a couple of hours anyway. :) Added 5 miles today. Part of that was outside in a light rain....I just couldn't do all of my walking on the treadmill.

    July total 36.5 miles

Been MIA for a bit - vacation and no service. I thought TMobile and AT&T merged or something like that so was very puzzled to be completely locked out of my phone in all of Montana and Wyoming.

They did merge but T-Mobile was a different carrier wave before. They use the same signal as Verizon. All the T-Mobile towers had to be switched to the AT&T signal type. If you had T-Mobile in Montana they made you get a different phone or your phone wouldn't pick up the signal. You should have been able to pick up the Verizon towers. I'm not sure what happened there. Verizon has more towers than AT&T in Montana.

@ scarfe - sorry you're injured :'( Hope you're up and running again soon. You are my running hero!
@ anaconda - please take it easy. good luck
@ vhuber - love the new photo
@ darkrider - a wealth of information as always. Who knew about those cell towers. Glad you are able to work on increasing cardio again.
@ lovemyyalex - go ahead and blame it on the meds  glad to see you moving. hope the rehab is going well.

I got my long run done today. It was weirdly cool for summer. A great day for running - not so much for going to the beach.

18.9 miles - 15.3 in cycle class #4. The instructor was right about it taking three classes to get calluses on your butt, this one didn't hurt as much and it was a 60 min class, whereas the other is 45. The rest was walking outside - heard a huge crash in the woods, thought Bigfoot was about to come running out.

Thanks for the cheer on increasing my cardio! Dean was the one talking about the cell towers tho....but I bet you knew that and it was just a little typing oops is all. I just don't think I should take credit for Dean's smarts.

@JTH11706 aww, you are so sweet, thank you! :flowerforyou: you're my running hero too! You're always training for such awesome races! I can't wait to get back to it but I'm trying to be patient. I could however quickly see myself embracing the laziness!

I'm adding 1 mile from beach walking today. :)

Had to watch the 2 grandies at their house in town. I was on my way out the door to go for my 4 miler when my son called saying they needed a sitter. So I put the 2 year old in the stroller & we three went & walked 2 miles around their streets (got smoothies at McDonalds). I did yard work for them etc..& took the kids to our annual parade (boy did it get hot!). Got home & did 12.75 on the ex bike. Now this should put me in the green for more than a few minutes! LOL
