I feel your pain, Nancy! I'm not sure if my diet break worked..won't know until I start losing at a regular pace. I can only hope to lose maybe 10 by Thanksgiving, and that certainly won't put me under 200. We just have to keep plugging away at it!

I will be right behind you ladies in losing soon. Today it was 70F and Fall was in the air. I am actually looking forward
to it, not the snow don't get me wrong. I have weigh in tomorrow and today I am over calories :s All good food but
I guess just too much of it.

Today was Yoga class and did some cleaning because we will be gone next week.

Esther- Sorry to hear about your reaction to the pool. Has that happened before? Feel better soon.
Try soaking in the tub with some Aveeno Oatmeal bath. Or any Oatmeal bath will help with the
itching. Also cortisone cream will help for itching too.

Hello, everyone! Just popping in for a minute. I'm sorry I'm so absent! I'd like to get back on track with stopping in every day after the end of this quarter of school. I have finals at the end of the month and the first week of September, so hopefully after that I'll get on a good schedule again.

Esther, I'm so sorry for your loss. :'( It is a very hard thing to deal with. :(

I hope everyone is doing well and feeling good! I'm being very lax lately with food and am taking the week off from exercise. We got back from a long weekend in Gatlinburg on Monday night, and I have so much homework to do I'd rather use that hour for exercise elsewhere this week. But next week is back to sweating with Tony and P90X.

We closed on our house yesterday!! And we will get the keys on Saturday. I went ahead and packed up most of the towels and will go ahead and take the abundance of liquid hand soaps I seem to have collected, and take those over with us on Saturday to put them in their places. I'm so glad we have 2 months to move everything over. I have so many things.

Signing off for now, I'll poke my head in again as soon as possible. I don't know if I'll get to read all the posts, but I will always try to skim them.

Have a lovely Thursday, ladies! :)

Good morning, misfit losers! Happy Thursday!

Ray...good to see you and congrats on your new home!

I was up at daybreak this morning and got the dog out for a walk. It seems cooler, but temps are still supposed to be in the 90s today. I have a few errands to run and want to get those out of the way. The scale is in my favor this morning and I hope it will still be when I weigh in on Monday.

I'll check back with you guys later.

    Stay strong!

    Hi gang.

Shirley ........ Yes the reaction to the chlorine happens daily. But this week the chlorine level has been getting higher and higher. Yesterday I was in the water 10 seconds and my legs were slimy from the chlorine being so high. I have tried cortisone cream. It doesn't really help me any. The oatmeal baths I have down int he past. But last night I took hand scrub (the salt scrub for dry skin stuff) and scrubbed my entire body with it including me face just to get the outer layer of chlorine off me.

Rach ........ So glad to hear you finally closed on the house!!!!!! Believe me those 2 months will fly by so fast!!!!!

And thank you all for the condolences. Ginger is laid next to her father in the back yard.

Thank you for the comments on our house, everyone. :) Barbie, this will be the first time we've had the luxury of more than 2-3 days to move. Luckily we won't have to worry about that again for several years now.
Esther, the time will definitely fly! I'll be out of school for most of the first week of September, and the second week, we'll be moving things over and getting them set up, and I'll also be doing a yard sale with my sister. After that, school will start up again and before I know it it'll be October, and then suddenly Halloween will sneak up on me and remind me I have 7 days left to vacate the apartment! Haha. One and a half more days before we get the keys, yay!!

Have a wonderful Friday, everyone! I hope you all have a good weekend planned. :)

Good morning, misfit losers! Happy Friday!

I'm late getting here. Cooper had a small growth under his front leg so it removed this morning. I had to have him there at 7:30, rushed to the gym for training, and by the time I finished there, he was ready to be picked up. We are back home now, he's sleeping and I'm exhausted. No sleep last night..achy knee and anxious about my fur baby. Needless to say, we will be relaxing today. (The achy knee is from trying to hold a truck door open with my leg as it was trying to close!)

Hope all of you are doing well and will check in with us soon. It's too quiet in here!

    Stay strong!

Connie - hope the knee feels better and we are not as young we used to be ;)

Esther - So glad your salt scrub helped you and relieved some of the itching. I'd think twice about going back
to the pool, you are definitely allergic to the chlorine.

Marie - I am with you on believing in yourself. We can do this and will !!

Rachel - Lots of luck on the new house and nice to have such a long time for moving. :)

Well I got in my hubby's car this morning to go to Yoga class and the battery was dead. I vacuumed out his car
yesterday and he thought I had left some lights on. Nope, just had the doors open. He said the lights go out
by themselves anyway. Now he is purchasing a new battery which has to be put in today.

We have our club party at the sailing club tomorrow which is called Corn Roast. Always a good time and it is catered for food.
We will sleep on the boat that night and get up early and get my MIL and then head up to the cottage. I will start
some packing today. I may go and see the hairdresser for a trim on my bangs. I have wait another week and half
before I get my hair cut again.

Today I have 2 non scale victories to report, a few months ago I bought some long shorts that didnt fit, I put a pair on yesterday and wore them and today I wore the other pair, its good to see changes, however I am in the 170's, and hopefully I will not go in the 180's again.I stayed in them along time and for months I kept going back in them. It made me feel I still am going in the right direction. Janice

Good morning, misfit losers! Happy Saturday!

Marie...we go out every day. They should start clearing the land by the end of the month. Probably won't be done until January or February. That's good because it gives me time to clean out this one.

Janice..so wonderful about the shorts. I would love to weigh 180!

    Shirley...have fun this weekend!

    Nancy..any rain yet?

Faye, Ray, Steph and everyone else..hope all is well with you guys!

Just got in from a walk with Cooper. He's fine and my knee is fine, thank goodness! We got plenty of needed rest yesterday. Today is massage day and I am looking forward to it.

Make it a great day, losers!
    Stay strong!

    I believe, too.

    Good Morning,
Connie, No rain since July 4th!!! Our neighbors who don't have sprinkler systems have grass that
is brown!!!! Towns around us have limited water usage and burn bands in place.
We begin to have a chance of rain starting tomorrow.
    Have a great weekend everyone.

Shirley have a great time at the cottage. You are the "goingest" gal I know.

Nancy our neighborhood is all brown. We too been ration water a long time. No rain all summer not much in sight.
We are pretty much used to it here in Texas.

Connie take some picrures of your lot. Would love to see it.

    Janice so proud of you.
Since it is almost 2 Pm I better think about lunch

Connie-I am glad to hear Cooper and you are both doing good. It sounds like things are about to get rolling on the new house, what an exciting time. I remember there has been plenty of times before that I would have been thrilled to be in the 180's, its just I have been there since the end of December, hopefully I will be staying in the 170's, and shorter than the 180's.

Nancy- Hopefully you will have rain soon, you all need to do a rain dance. Ha, ha. We have had a good amount of rain this summer, but lately its been dry. I had to water the tomatoes they were starting to look alittle brown in spots.

Shirley- Have a good time at the cottage, its nice that you and your husband get to get out of town alot. My husband was just saying he's ready for a vacation, he has been working on a school and there was a time deadline and he couldnt take any time off, now schools are open so he will be able to soon, they still have some more work there, thats an addition. I'd like to go to the beach.

Marie- I hope you have been doing okay, and get some rain soon. Thank you for your kind words. I have come along way and its good to hear other people take notice. I just need to remember to be patient.

Well I gotta go, have a great weekend everyone. Janice

    hi all!!

sorry I haven't been around but it has been kind of busy with my kids coming home, my daughters bday and back to school stuff. all is good but I have been eating too much or maybe just some of the wrong stuff. it has been hard to keep on my schedule and routine, tracking challenging when eating out so much. I was up a lb this morning:( I know this is life and I shouldn't let the scale define me. I don't know about you guys but it is difficult for me to get back on the wagon sometimes, I prefer to stick to routine!!

    hope everyone is well!!

    great about the shorts Janice!!

connie, how is the reset going?

marie, I always eat lunch at 2:) maybe because I eat 6 times a day!

Shirley, have fun on your trip!!

    nancy, how are you?

hi to everyone else!! ester, faye, Rachel, Barbie

    good morning

    Sort of slow this morning.

I have some questions this morning. Connie is your husband retired? Nancy? Janice? REST OF The GANG?

The kitties are having a ball this morning as usually Already been up here helping me type and chasing the mouse. A long time cyber friend sent them some toys to play with. They have them all scatter all over the house.. They are allowed the run Of the house except the bedroom. They usually stay pretty close to me. Real close. in fact.
Waiting on Alice to get out here She lost over 4 lbs. at WW yesterday . She is back on Her diet. at last,

Our New Air-condition is working like a dream what we heard it was going to be way out of our budget. But our neighbor got it thru his work at a great a discount And he installed it for us. So a wonderful savings for us. A BIG ONE.
GOT TO GET DRESS SEE YOU LATER

Good morning, misfit losers! Happy Sunday!

Marie..yes, my husband is retired, too. He retired a year before I did. Good for Alice getting back on track and your savings on a new air conditioner! Sounds like you are loving those kitties!

Steph..the reset is going great for now. The scale has been in my favor. Hope to lose the remainder of what I gained this week.

Just returned from church so need to get some sweet potatoes going for the week. They are my carb staple these days.
    I'll check back later.

    Stay strong, losers!

Marie-My husband is 50yrs old and still working, he is a carpenter. I have been off 5years at the end of this month, time flies, it was suppose to be alittle break, not this long. I really like not working anymore, tired of the b.s. that goes with it. Glad your neighbor saved you money on your air, that was nice of him.

Stephanie-I know with school starting there soon and kids just returning, things are different, but really thats your normal, I'm sure you will get back on track, everyone has days the scale is up alittle thats normal, dont worry it will go back down.

Have a good day everyone. Janice
