29th: 0 miles - a truly wet and stormy day!
ETA - but a lovely time spent with family and celebrating my eldest grandson's 1st birthday.
@Lovemyalex - well done, and what a beautiful photo'
@Clepant - another fab image, and amazing role modelling for young women in your family.
@sufferlandian - rest and your mojo will soon burst back.
Thanks ☺️ Hope you enjoyed your birthday celebration.0 -
Today was my dad's 92nd birthday along with my hubby's. I always tell him that I married him because it was much easier to remember both on the same day. Anyway, I cleaned out his garage and loaded a lot of fire wood for him along with storing all the summer lawn furniture. I made both of them a birthday dinner and after some birthday cake. Now it's back to work and my break is over. Phew!
Nov.30: Lovely day for squeezing in a long bike ride.
18.5 miles of biking for 13.5 miles and walking 5 with the pups.
TTD: 304.0 miles
Here is to a good December of moving. We will get it done.
@anaconda469: You got your ride in and that is what counts. You have had a lot on your plate these past number of weeks so no beating up yourself. You are amazing.

This pic is me getting home at about 6pm, after riding in the dark for a few more miles. I am done whining now.....

There is nothing like a good trainer. The prices have come down quite a bit on some of the older styles. Fluid trainers are nice because they are quiet and they mimic the road. The harder you peddle, the more resistance there is. The magnetic trainers are nice because you can simulate hills without having to change gears. You can also make it easier to ride on those days you find your legs just don't have what you need. I'll have to take pictures of the two I have.0 -
Final total 88.5 miles ...not my best month0

Total of 43 miles for November. Thanks!

We have the same issues here, it's just too dark and cold and snowy to ride outdoors anymore so I feel your pain. Bikes have officially been put away in the warm basement for the winter.0 -

Nov. 29: My knees feel the pounding but I ran 6.48 miles of off hillside trails today with my nephew and walked 5.08 miles

Thought everyone would enjoy a laugh as this big turkey makes a turkey of herself running a 5K on Thanksgiving morning with my nephew's daughter. It was her second 5K and she had a PR.
