    After working five shifts in the past six nights, including the worst charge shift of my long career, I'm on vacation. Staying home, or as I put it when coworkers ask where I'm going - "not here."

    It felt so good to get outside and see sunlight. 5.1 mile walk.

    Let's start the month off right with 29 miles out of 200. :smile:

    Adding 16 miles for 45 out of 200.

    Adding another 13 miles for 58 out of 200.

    Adding 22 miles for 80 out of 200. I need to go to CE next week so I need to get miles in this week.

    Adding another 4 miles for 84 out of 200. Now off to CE.

    Well, a week at the conference and four days with the flu and I'm finally getting back on the bike. 6 miles walking at the conference and 11 miles today and I'm up to 101 miles out of 200. I have to remember not to push it too fast or I'll wear out and be back nursing the flu again.

    Adding another 10 miles for 111 out of 200.

    Walked with the boys this morning then got on the bike then went to 1st grade then shopped. A full day!

    @Just_Ceci: I know how you feel. Felt that way after knee surgery but you will be back there again better then ever and tearing up the pavement.
    @ Dean: Hang in there.....that stuff is nasty. You are wise to not push it. Feel better and welcome back.

    March 17: Four more days of coaching volleyball and I will be free to run and bike longer after work...yippee.

    17th: 6 miles purposeful walking, lots of buggy pushing with a sleeping toddler, + 2.6 m with running group - MTD 99.91


    Start of wk8 on C25K . . . . . right leg is holding up really wel! YaY!
    On Saturday I'm taking part in a 'Sport Relief' charity run . . .YaY!

    Had a nice visit with my daughter yesterday and added 4.5 miles walking too. I probably would have walked more if I'd stayed home, but I had fun and she now has shoes that aren't completely torn out on the sides. (No comment on whether she will get rid of the old shoes).

    Back to work today. kar328, I can't wait til the time I can say "not here" but that isn't even possible til next month. For now, I'll just try to keep a sense of humor and hang in there.
