Any tricks to increase fluid intake? Maybe wet food's the best solution....0

Well I guess that's out then. Yeah mine get mostly wet, when I had two cats they only ate wet but I started adding dry as I got more cats to help with the cost. My one girl prefers running water so she has one of those ceramic fountains. Maybe they'd be drawn to one of those.1

They do work well.... unless there's an intended beneficiary hell bent on sabotage! (A Martian Water Kitty became a failed foster.)

I don't have any cats, but this one below it one of my favorite cat pics:
I think that cat needs to go on a keto/locarb diet...

Is that more than half of them?
It's no mystery - Twelve cats who get along are much easier to live with than two who don't!
PS I'll be scratching on your window when I finally come back as a cat.3 -
Thirteen, and actually one called Mystery (his sister is Magick)3

All rescues? More names!2 -
Here is my 15 year old, blind, "Oscar" . He was a rescue after hurricane Katrina. He is my lover boy! Rotten, as he should be!
You get the Oscar!
Our pea- (pee-?) brained county vet put a blind kitty down without bothering to ask if anyone would be interested in fostering him.... Grrrr.
Good news, too, though. There were at least 15 volinteers who said, "we'll take the next one."4 -

My friend's new cat1

First thing: Why is it so hard to find old threads, ugh it took me 15 minutes just to find this one
Second thing: Look how cute this cat is with her short legs and fat belly, loving her 3rd favorite shoelace, the first two have been misplaced

I can't get over how fat my white one is. She was this TINY little baby when we found her. We had to bottle feed her. Now look at her!! Scriabin is named after the Russian composer Alexander Nikolayevich Scriabin, who happens to be my husband's muse. I won't lie my husband sort of looks like this guy. This is Scriabin:

haha it all makes perfect sense. I know my guy too, he showed up on my porch as a stray after living through an incredibly cold winter a couple years ago, he had frost bite and was starving and super sweet and gentle. hes still super sweet and gentle but now weighs 17 lbs lol2

What a sucker I am - expecting a Russian Blue, when the page loaded, I got a tuxedo musketeer instead! (And an incredibly cool one at that - looks like he's floating on his back on the Dead Sea.)
Here's one of our fosters with his adoptive pillow.

AWWWWWW. This whole thread is making me want to take in another rescue. I just took in 2 more guinea pigs though, bringing the total up to 5. So for now, with 2 cats, 5 pigs, and 12 year old daughter, we have a full house.1

Maybe your husband should tint his trim black - twins!0
