Early Morning Splash, Missed adult swim club last night :( travelling for work.
    1200m, 400 fr, 400 br, 200 bk, 100 kick :s easy 100 fr to finish.

The 4 Elite members of the local swim team were in the pool, interesting listening in on their instructions. The advantage of our small community/pool is we all know each other so the coach doesn't get " Grumpy " when us pokey swimmers listen in. I have learned a lot from them.

Went to a 6am aqua cardio class to meet a friend, but also to check out lane availability at that time. Dang. Swimmers are a dedicated bunch. The rest of the building was pretty quiet, but all 6 lanes had 2-3 swimmers. By 6:30, it was clearing out, and by 7am, awesome. Too bad I have to be at work by 8:00... :(

Had a Daily Double. Got back in the pool at 1830 for an hour of drills. Lots of kick and Bilateral Breathing work. Then attempted 20 flip turns. I still have a bad case of what I call windmill arms/hands. I know the theory just having a hard time keeping it together.
Not sure of how many lengths I put in.

@girlwithcurls2 That sounds like my pool. Opens at 6am by 7-7:15 the lanes are empty. I still stay until 7:30 and then eat breakfast at my desk while doing the first round of HellMail.

40 minute slow swim to stretch out after 4+ hours of taking out the garden. I almost went swimming before gardening, but quickly realized how backward that would feel to my body. Had a nice long soak/stretch in the hot tub too.

Haven't checked in on here for a long time but I have been pretty steady going at it in the pool.

I'm up to making 2 miles my new "minimum" basic distance and eyeballing swimming 5km this Friday. Last swim took me an hour and twelve minutes, trying to knock that down to an hour flat for 2 miles.

Still don't know much about what I'm doing. Just swimming freestyle the whole way. I bought an underwater mp3 player which has made a world of difference in terms of how long I'm willing to spend in the pool.

    No.

But I am missing it..... So I must be getting better from latest CFS relapse (and starting to survive new puppy impact!).

    4 miles last night.
Spent part of looping with a very slow woman doing breast stroke. Passed her every other lap.
    Weight room the night before.
