    2800m solo swim. Including my first ever critical swim speed set.

    2 x 500 fr as:
    1. 200 (15) + 100 (15) + 4 x 50 (10) hold same pace throughout
    2. 500 fr pull/pads concentrate on catch and finish of each stroke

    3 x 200 as:
    1. 4 x 50 back (15) hold same pace
    2. 2x 75 back steady 50 back max
    3 4 x 50 free on 50 holding 37 or below

    6.6km yesterday. Trying to be a little more moderate on weekends now that I hit the 20km goal.
    Had a great 500+m push set with a much younger and more obviously fit swimmer.
    I was already past the 3.3km mark. A guy that knows how far I swim for in. He pushed me to pick up my pace. We're stayed neck and neck for the whole push set. I thanked him for the push. Pace was about 1:55/100m for the push. My cruise place is typically 2:06 to 2:12/100m

    6.6km today. That pushed me over 120 miles in 4 weeks for the first time.
    120.13 miles with 2 zero days in that 28 days period.

    2850m solo swim.

    Thought I'd try doing a straight 2500m free to start increasing my long swims. Just casual pace so about 38 minutes. Wasn't too bad except for the last 750m my cap kept sliding up and my hair was in my face!

    Then 350 warmdown.

    There's an ocean swim race here in the morning which I entered but might be too lazy to get up and do it lol.

    I get 2000m in 40mins on a good day!
    that is amazing for 'casual' pace!

    So I wimped out of the ocean swim lol. To be fair I've had a cracking headache since yesterday and the weather is not great. Will do a pool swim later for penance :lol:

    I only have time for 2.2km before work in China. It feels so short because I swim 6.6km after work.
    So I try to pickup the pace.
