Yes Emma I too wonder how you can do such tough workouts with that shoulder of yours, especially all that fly!
    Take care!

2800m with masters although had a lane to myself.

    200 warmup

    4x 150 as 1 kick 1 free 1 mixed 1 free

8x 50 kick on side with fins on 1.00

    4x 200IM on 4.00 as
    1 and 3 normal
    2 and 4 reverse medley

    600 pull

    200 warmdown

It's not cool how quickly you lose your fitness and stroke after a reduction in training. The 200IMs nearly killed me and I struggled to get my arms over the water in the fly!!!

The pool is OPEN!!! I'll be back today. I'm not sure if I can get any laps in, but I'm so excited to get back in the water!

Couldn't swim yesterday. Had a screening test that requires an internal clean out.
But swimming this afternoon for sure. Requiring from 36 hours of not eating. Getting back to regular order.

Yes a v quick swim earlier in the week. Quick as in rushed for time (I bumped into 2 people I could not rush on my way to the pool) but also quick as in trying to go fast, for me.

I did the first half of my 'Fit At Fifty' routine (tho to be honest it was a bit 'eek this feels hard' this time!).

500 m or so, over 20/25 mins of sprints and rests.

(Aware I have a swimming motivation issue lurking around...Please see separate post! Thanks)

Pool still closed. Will dump some bleach in my bathtub and do 10000 laps to get a " Chlorine Pool Fix ". At least I won't have to fight for space in my lane. >:)

16.6 km of running today as Roving photographer on a local Obstacle Race.
12 km last night on the same course ( 2 laps )

Just not quite the same as getting a "Splish Splash" workout in. I definitely need both activities to stay " Balanced "
