Just kidding ofcourse.
Here we love everybody right?
So we are focussed on the next week ...keep smiling (I will to I promise)....and keep moving.

Hey guys! Taking a little break here in Paris. My back and feet are killing me and it's really cold for us floridians! I've got 4 hours of walking to add to the spreadsheet, I plan to climb the arc d triomph this afternoon (200 some odd steps up) and will have a bunch more minutes from this afternoon and evenings planned walking. I won't get to any videos until we get to London. Our room here is so small I barely have room to get dressed much less dance! We are on the third floor so I've already taken the stairs once but didn't count. I wish the challenge had been up before we hit museums because we walked up and down and all around at the louvre and the orangerie! I bet I'd be halfway finished with the steps lol!
I'd love to go to Machu picchu but if the only way to get there are those steps-I will have to stick to a virtual visit!5 -
@cardbucfan - sounds like an amazing trip. Enjoy your time!
Machu Picchu! I would LOOOOVE to go on that hike. Yes, it would be a bit terrifying, but amazing. I will pass on the frog juice though, gag.
I'm at O'Hare airport, heading home. I get home earlier than I expected so I may get in some minutes today after all. I'm not near any steps right now or I'd use my time for that. I'll be boarding soon though.

@cardbucfan I warned you for the time of year it is a little cold right now .....our lawn was real frozen this morning.
Enjoy your visit here in Europe are you also visit "Euro Disney"?
@katarmonic have a safe trip love your pics

There is a 0.6% difference between us and Team 5.
Don't get comfortable with our lead! Work it.2 -
I can't get the spreadsheet to work-can somebody post 420 minutes for me? Another day of almost non stop walking. Helped keep us a little warm! We thought about going up the Eiffel Tower but we're too cold lol! Almost done with the steps too!
@wolvinnetje -we aren't going to Disney. We live an hour away from Disney World in Orlando and don't even go there! And yes, you warned me. It was fine until the wind picked up. My toes are froze!5 -

I didn't actually WARN @ka97 that dancing was coming, but she had to know it would hit eventually!
She'll be fine. She should be a pro at Salsa moves by now!
@Vowder is right! We are ahead, but only by a teeny tiny bit. If just a couple of us miss a challenge, Team Five could zoom right by us! THAT is NOT the way it is going to be!
Has anyone heard from @celtikgirl? Did she go on vacation and I didn't see it?
@cardbucfan: Great job keeping in touch from Europe! Keep those numbers rolling in and work off the yummy food! BTW: I didn't quite mention that there IS a train you can take to Machu Picchu instead of hiking it! So you can still go!
@katharmonic: Cute cute pictures! I hope your flight was a smooth one!
@mamaelf2008: Next time you want a cookie just picture some frog juice or fried guinea pig! The video on making the frog juice should make anything unappetizing!
I know I can knock the dancing videos out today (no surprise there!), and I plan on doing about 25 flights of 14 stairs every day this week in order to have them done by Friday. I guess I better get off my butt and go climb!

Beautiful daughters @Vowder
And didn't I say she was going to make us dance?!?!?!???!!!!!
I knew it was coming.
I didn't get a chance to look at this weeks destination and challenges until after work. And thought "all those steps I missed" oh well I still got time to make it up
My plan is to knock out the videos as soon as possible since I will be dead tired by the end of the week. So no sitting for me after supper. I have to stay busy until the Packer game tonight, then it's "deep couch sitting" time for me. I'll probably fall asleep before half time. 4am comes early for this little elf!
Congratulations everyone by doing your best and getting another 1st place!! Not time to relax just yet. Still a couple weeks to go before we can relax. You all are so awesome!!!!2 -
@Vowder such awesome photos!
@wolvinnetje yes that @tonilogan is sooooo difficult sometimes!
I was afraid there would be dancing this week And I always get a little concerned when I see "dance practice" pop up on @hawkins410 newsfeed.
I got 4 videos done today. And I'm supposed to pick a favorite????? I didn't get a sticky out early enough to tally all my stairs at work, but I don't think it will be a problem.
Also got a 4 mile run after work before it got dark. It's tough trying to squeeze in a run this time of year. I may have overdone it this weekend (shocking right?) - ankle is still a bit sore.1 -
Hi team! Made it back home, even got in a little early. I was super tired from my early morning start. Stella was excited to get back home and we both took a nap. Then I rallied and took her for a walk followed by going to my run group workout tonight.
Thanks to my workout, I managed to stay within my calorie goal today, despite not eating the best at all. Starting tomorrow it is time to stop eating out all the time and indulging in high-cal foods constantly. It was a good week

Wow! I had lots to catch up on!
Sounds like a blast @cardbucfan
We are redoing my daughters room in Paris right now! She wants to go someday! I do too!
@katharmonic Glad you made it home! Sounds like a great time!
I actually enjoy the dancing! I don't have the best rhythm and I do it before anyone is up to watch! I got 2 videos done today!
I cringed at the stair challenge though! I usually start every challenge Monday so I am not waiting until last minute but first day back at work in over a week and up since 3:30 am with Toddler it isn't happening! I got slammed with practice benchmarks that have to be made and given on Wednesday! Besides that and all the computers running after a week break they rebelled! I work at the computer lab at the school! Needless to say even though I was sitting more than usual today I burned a lot of calories!
@vowder Beautiful daughters!1 -
Accomplished the videos and did the stretching one. My video that I repeated to get the 6 I'm was the last one. It was my favorite cuz I knew that was the end of the dancing. But I really enjoyed the music. @MissionEnforcer
I think I'll pass on the frog juice!! Gross!!
Tomorrow I start counting steps!!!
This elf is tired hahahahaaa2 -
So do we NOT tag MissionEnforcer anymore for anything? Please clarify0

Good morning!
I finished the dance videos!!!!

Good morning, team.
I was finally able to weigh myself this morning and the news was not good. Up 2.4 lbs. Time to get back to eating more reasonably and better logging! I'm sure my estimates from all the eating last week were quite off. Thank goodness for our challenge to stay within our goals 5 days this week! I have 1/5 so far.
Haven't started the other challenges yet, except for a few steps at my house. I learned last time that steps are a tougher challenge for me as I don't encounter a lot in my typical day so I'll have to work on this one.2 -
-
How the @#$% did it get to be Tuesday already! Time to regroup - and apologize for dropping off the face of the earth for a few days. I have no good excuse - just doing stuff that didn't involve sitting in front of the computer.
So, off to Peru for me... and stairs - I dislike stairs more than I dislike dancing, but I'll do them, both. I never got to finish the rockette the stretches last week, and I'm totally bummed I missed that cab ride. Thanks to all those of you who kept our numbers up, I know I wasn't much help.
The Christmas treats and temptations are already starting around here. I just keep telling myself "Cruise in January." I have two new fancy dress up dresses and a bathing suit I want to be able to wear! So far it has kept me out of the Moose Munch, and the last two pieces of pumpkin pie are drying up in the refrigerator.2 -
@celtikgirl - a cruise is great motivation! Toss that dried up pie, you've got this! (Pass me the Moose Munch though).
A few stairs done today (I'm about 1/4 of the way up - huff, puff - wait for me!), and the first dance video done. I should finish up within my calorie goal also. I did a morning walk and an afternoon run with Stella for minutes.
I watched the video of the little kids doing the dance on the Peru Tiene Talento show - they were so good. Adorable too. I also went to the link on 7 facts about Peru - this was clearly not originally in English. Not sure how many languages that was translated through but I couldn't make sense of some of them. But I do really want a llama. Or alpaca, whichever.2 -
I got about 1/3 of the stairs done. Huff puff. I am dragging! If I fall and can't get up who's gonna rescue me?0
-
Look at those cute puppies! Lol!3 -
If you see a very similar post a few hours ago I typed it up and then must have not hit post! I guess that is what happens when you get old --- I haven't been much of a Captain this week! SO much to celebrate with eking out our victory and then such a great location. The year we went to Ireland we considered Peru, but my sister and her husband wanted to take the train and we wanted to hike. Maybe another year-- We could plan a Team One rendezvous. Especially since we know we have a safety net with @TamiJo1004 rescue squad. Love all the pics! @Vowder family, @ka97 dancing, @katharmonic Alpacas.
Got the dancing done. I have two left feet and no rhythm but I love Zumba and latin dancing because it makes your cardio workout fly by. I should finish the stair climb tomorrow. Wish the Machu Piccu was my birthday week. These are some pictures of our hike in Watkins Glen. --- and the gorge trail has 800 steps up and 800 steps down
5 -
Oh wow, @120maggie - Watkins Glen looks amazing. I have to get there! Too bad all those steps are not this week!2
-
@120maggie ---- another location on my bucket list. The list is getting long!2
-
HAPPY HUMP DAY!
Woot Woot! My stairs are complete! It was much easier this time around!
@celtikgirl: Welcome back to the "herd". Glad you are OK!
@katharmonic: A llama once spit in MissionEnforcer's face. A big green glob of chewed up grass. Kind of reminded me of Frog Juice, now that I think about it!
@TamiJo1004: I think my furbaby Tara needs a new puppy bother or sister! But only if they are hand delivered!
And if you fall, it looks like you have found some helpful hands!
@120maggie: I loooove those pictures!!
*****Have a great Wednesday Team One!****2
