How cute, but they are nasty creatures. We have a bunch of Alpaca farms in my county that I cycle by regularly. Mission enforcer is lucky he got away with just one attack!! 919 steps up and 919 steps down are done. I plan to keep doing sets of 10 flights of 14, when I feel like I've sat too long.
There is a four hour open house luncheon at my husbands office for his retirement this afternoon. No idea what to expect for food. I guess my best strategy is if I don't know how to count the calories I don't eat it!!2 -
Great work so far this week team!
Did not get a chance to check on this week's challenge until this morning and am still keeping the couch company today. Did get a bunch of minutes Monday and a short run yesterday before my surgery. Will not have any exercise today so hopefully you can all pick up the slack for me
Hope you are all having a wonderful Wednesday!!

@AlethaMary You focus on recovering. We got this!
Cute pics!
Great job on getting steps done @120maggie
I am 2/3 of the way now.
Caught up and forgot half of it. Body decided I needed sleep this morning I slept through my alarm to workout but luckily the toddler internal alarm still made sure we were up in time to get ready. I am still fighting these sinuses think I may break down and end up at doctor.0 -

Look at those cute puppies! Lol!
Yeah @TamiJo1004 their ahhhh eyes (yes their eyes) are adorable!! I'd climb extra stairs if I got to look in their "eyes" at the top of the stairs!!3 -
TamiJo1004 wrote: »I got about 1/3 of the stairs done. Huff puff. I am dragging! If I fall and can't get up who's gonna rescue me?
I'll always rescue you!! But maybe the "puppies" are better at rescuing damsels in distress1 -
If you see a very similar post a few hours ago I typed it up and then must have not hit post! I guess that is what happens when you get old --- I haven't been much of a Captain this week! SO much to celebrate with eking out our victory and then such a great location. The year we went to Ireland we considered Peru, but my sister and her husband wanted to take the train and we wanted to hike. Maybe another year-- We could plan a Team One rendezvous. Especially since we know we have a safety net with @TamiJo1004 rescue squad. Love all the pics! @Vowder family, @ka97 dancing, @katharmonic Alpacas.
Got the dancing done. I have two left feet and no rhythm but I love Zumba and latin dancing because it makes your cardio workout fly by. I should finish the stair climb tomorrow. Wish the Machu Piccu was my birthday week. These are some pictures of our hike in Watkins Glen. --- and the gorge trail has 800 steps up and 800 steps down
Beautiful!2 -
@MissionEnforcer I completed my steps did it tonight for my exercise! Man my legs were vibrating afterward.1
-
@AlethaMary & @TamiJo1004: Perhaps he should saddle up and get you two are doctor?
@aenglehardt347: Maybe your legs need a rub down?5 -
If I stay on schedule I'll have my steps done tomorrow. I don't know if I'm coming or going and have no clue what day it is half the time. But luckily I only have 3 more 10hr days to get through until I get a day off. Then back at it for another round of 5-6 10hr days. I'm doing my best to get exercise in. Ina. Our weeks it'll all be over and I can relax a bit.2

My legs are feeling those steps, I stretched but I sure hope I won't be sore tomorrow.1

Hey team!
Wrapping up November with some good stats - I hit over 401,900 steps this month, my highest ever! And I ran 94.4 miles total, which averaged to 3.15 miles/38 minutes per day. Can you tell I love spreadsheets?
I had to do some planks, situps, squats, and wall sits for another challenge I'm in. I was sitting on the couch just wanting to call it a night but dragged myself off and did it. And then while I was up, I put on the Dances with Mundo Guyi and just got into it! I finished them all and re-did the 1st one. Vivir mi vida, indeed! So that finishes challenge 2, and my total minutes today were 112.
I also had another good day for eating and was well under my calorie goal. 3/5 days completed.
Steps are coming along very slowly - I'm not even halfway up yet! The air is getting thin up here!
Funny about the llama spitting, I've heard that about them. But they are so cute. I've been trying to convince my sister, who has a farm, to get llamas and goats. But they have a whole herd of large draft horses that take up their time and energy.
Great job on the steps @aenglehardt347!5 -
Wow @katharmonic super stats!! That what these challenges are all about--- pushing ourselves. You too @mamaelf2008 sticking to it with your hectic days. @AlethaMary fast recover!3

Hey all! Good job on ekeing out a win last week! This week I'm gonna have some good some not so good. We had an AMAZING time in champagne country and there is no way I can accurately log what I ate or drank (or even how much I drank!) . We got to London late last night and poor hubby is sick. He has meetings today and I'm off to Harry Potter and maybe the Tate modern so I will get a bunch of minutes in at least. Hoping to get the dancing in this afternoon when I get back. I have the space now just not sure I have the time.2
-
@carbucfan: Sorry to hear about hubby being sick! What an awesome trip, though! OK, so you might not be 5 for 5 on calorie count (unless you are walking & dancing them off), but we know you can do the dancing! I found some dance dresses to help out!

Harry Potter studios are AMAZING!!! Had a great time but now I'm getting the cold.
I still can't update the spreadsheet for whatever reason so if somebody could post for me it's 420 minutes gif Monday. 30 minutes for Tuesday. 0 for Wednesday. 165 for Thursday. Steps done. Gonna see about those videos in a bit.
@hawkins410 -too darn cold here to wear those dresses!2 -
@carbucfan: Got you covered! We'll send you a warm outfit from Peru when we get there! Hope you feel better!
3 -
Not sure I am a fan of Peru fashion. I get that it is cold out but those English dresses are the bomb!5

@Vowder: We're almost to Peru! You didn't seem to care for my first choice of Peruvian clothing, so does this suit you better?

Stairs done!! So glad. Not that it was hard cuz I always take the stairs instead of the elevator anyway, just glad I got the challenge done. Been feeling overwhelmed lately and feel like I'm letting my team down. It's just me being too hard on myself.4

Dancing videos done.
1528 stairs done.
3 days done under calories.
Shorthanded staff at work and trying to maintain sanity
Keeping up with everyone's posts, but just too damn tired to participate much. But still doing my best to get in exercise everyday.4 -
I'll take the poncho and hat! That looks nice and warm.
4 days under calories done. Tomorrow I have my work holiday party so that's going to be a tough one, but fortunately I have the weekend too to get 1 more day under.
Not much progress on the stairs today, and a fairly low exercise day. I did a dog walk and some yoga, but it was a rest day from running.
Does anyone get eye twitching? I'm having a really bad couple of days with my right eye. I'm sure it's stress related. I wish it would just knock it off.0 -
-
Woohoo! Glad we made it!3
-
Excellent job guys!! @mamaelf2008 I agree with @hawkins410 !!! Awesome Elf, I'm with @katharmonic on the Poncho versus the high boots. Every once and I while I get those eye twitches with stress. Annoying, but better than a throbbing head ache @Vowder it should be a great feeling that you raised your daughter to learn to fly to her dreams!
Just in case anyone else is going nuts trying to remember what we are supposed to rather be!
I'd rather be a sparrow than a snail
Yes I would, if I could, I surely would
I'd rather be a hammer than a nail
Yes I would, if I only could, I surely would
Away, I'd rather sail away
Like a swan that's here and gone
A man gets tied up to the ground
He gives the world it's saddest sound
Its saddest sound
I'd rather be a forest than a street
Yes I would, if I could, I surely would
I'd rather feel the earth beneath my feet
Yes I would, if I only could, I surely would
