Snowstorm Stella hit here today as well! I think we've gotten about 13 inches, with the possibility of a couple more overnight. I had hoped for a pre-blizzard run this morning, but the storm snuck in sooner than expected.
I haven't decided what challenges to do yet this week - will wait until I know how many miles I can get in tomorrow. But I can guarantee it won't be dancing! Maybe I'll start counting stairs, just in case.
@120maggie I am both shocked and relieved @hawkins410 did not torture us with Irish step dancing!!!!! Must be my lucky week!3 -
Challenge 2 completed:
I chose the Recovery Day Routine from last week in Jamaica because I felt really sore from my run workout and tromping through the snow earlier today. It felt really good to stretch, especially my calves. And I just love the beginning with twisting and flailing the arms. I feel like a little kid when I do that.3 -
Challenge #3 completed:
I had:
spinach - twice, once in a smoothie and tonight in a spinach, chicken, and mushroom lasagna that I made (tried a new recipe and it turned out pretty well!).
avocado - twice, once on my taco plate and today in an egg, bacon, avocado and cheese sandwich
brussel sprouts - roasted with taco seasoning and eaten with taco meat
baby lettuce mix - big side salad tonight with my lasagna
And I have leftovers of all of that so I will be eating green all week.2 -
Challenge #1
Week 4 Thailand.
Kickboxing
I like how quickly the cardio session goes by and that kickboxing works my trouble spots. abs and flabby arms.
(Also for the fun of it I did the Jamaican week 7 video)1 -
CHALLENGE #3
This should make @MissionEnforcer happy
So far I have eaten many green foods this week. More than the required five and I am just starting for the week.
Yesterday I had several different leafy greens in my salad. Plus I had wasabi for my seared tuna.
Today I had six green things.- For Breakfast I had a fruit salad which included two GREEN things - Kiwi and Thompson Grapes.
- For lunch I stole a little of my husbands left over scallop and shrimp pasta. The toppings included Artichoke. No picture of that.
- This evening I made the Jamaican Curry Chicken. It had scallions in the vegetable; also included many of those Jamaican spices from last week. We also had Lime cilantro rice. (We'll keep these recipies.)
Looking forward to fitting more green things in. In the house I've still got spinach, cucumbers, zucchini, peas, green beans, celery, bell peppers and alfalfa sprouts.
And that old container of sour cream is looking a little green.....1 -
All videos completed while staying active today3

Challenge #2
Sabai (Relax!) Your feet! -
Tuk Tuk to Thailand. I chose this challenge because standing on your feet all day and with workouts by the end of the day I need time to relax my feet. At night before I go to bed I give myself a little treat massaging my feet which makes me feel good and relaxed.2 -
Got some minutes in today! Hoping to knock Challenges out tomorrow! Spring cleaning is keeping me busy.2
-
Did 5K today, but I am not sure what challenge I am going to apply it to yet. I don't know what my second challenge pick will be. The foot massage is appealing.2

CHALLENGE #2
"TEK IT EASY MON" (JAMAICA - WEEK 7)

Just in case the cycle isn't okay -->
Challenge #1

Link to: THE LAST GREAT RACE!
CHALLENGE #1: “FROSTBITE FOOTRACE OR IDITAROD
(Option #2 - 5K outside

HAVE A GREAT DAY!2 -
CHALLENGE #1 Week 6
“FROSTBITE FOOTRACE OR IDITAROD?” Option #3
I did 12+ miles indoors on the treadmill. The reason I did this particular one is that I'm sick and it's one of the few things that doesn't make me dizzy or more congested. I really prefer being outside, but that is just not happening until maybe this weekend. I'm hoping for great things.0 -
Challenge #3
I ate 4 different green fruits/veggies: kiwi, spinach, raw cabbage (in my Asian salad), and green grapes. And broccoli. I forgot to include the broccoli.1 -
If ever there was a week to max out points and complete all challenges, this is it! I've lurked some of the other teams and I think there may be some point holding back until Sunday in an attempt to sneak attack and up their points all at once. If you're the top dog then there's no reason to hide it. Let's proudly post our points team!
I hope the lurking is not a problem.3 -
CHALLENGE #1: “GET WID DE BEAT” (20 Min. Workout Video)
Because I loved the beat of this video and it lift me up
1 -
CHALLENGE #2: “TEK IT EASY MON!” (20 Min. Recovery Video)
Because after this week with building works I really needed the stretch1 -

CHALLENGE #2:
I CHOSE THE 5k RANDONNEE ON REUNION CHALLENGE FROM WEEK 2 (REUNION ISLAND).
I CHOSE THIS CHALLENGE BECAUSE I LIKE TO RUN ALL DRESSED UP IN MY ST PATRICKS DAY COSTUME IN 10 DEGREE WINDCHILL... LOL!
HOWEVER, MOST IMPORTANTLY, I PR'd!!!

Took the day off. I'll be back tomorrow0
-
Challenge #2
I chose "RANDONNEE ON REUNION" 5k from week number two. I chose this because I hate exercise videos, and it was the only challenge #2 that was not a video. Plus, as I'm sure everyone knows by know, I enjoy running. And I always run outside.2 -
4 mile run and a kickboxing class tonight. I may use the kickboxing class for my challenge #1, depending on what the weather has in store for us. At the moment my plan is to do the iditarod (10.5+miles) on Sunday, but there could be more snow on the way. Too soon to tell right now. I don't mind the cold, but I've had enough of the snow already.
Challenges 2 and 3 are done and posted, and will update the spreadsheet shortly.GSXRGIRL61 wrote: »CHALLENGE #1 Week 6

CHALLENGE #2 from Week 2: “RANDONNEE ON RÉUNION!”
I walked at the zoo today for over 5 miles. I chose this challenge because it is Spring Break for me and the kids, and we have been spending a lot of time outside. It's been nice (91 degrees today).1 -
Just tracking - Today's green was cucumber, celery, iceberg lettuce and alfalfa sprouts.
This is more fun than I thought.1 -
WE HAVE ARRIVED!3 -
Please keep @mamaelf2008 in your thoughts and prayers. Her fur baby
