Got in the pool and had just finished my warm up when they had to close the pool for thirty minutes. So I really wanted to get my swim in so I went and hung out in the jacuzzi. Has been ages since I have spent time in one, and while it was no overly hot, 30 minutes later I could really feel it when I got back into finish my workout. I have a feeling I will sleep really well tonight.0 -

I haven't been logging in here much eventhough I have been chugging along swimming 4 times a week, averaging about 3.5km per session.
Big news is my daughter is home from University on Easter break and she has been joining me at Masters practice, which has been fun.2 -
1400m of nothing fast.
My shoulders are aching today - sore to move and tender to touch. Not sure if that's normal after a racing suit, or if it's from the race pace work yesterday.

I've been finding it surprisingly calming NOT to count my laps and to play other head games instead. Swimming by the clock is a different experience for me!2 -
