Is it low carb? Cheesecake filling typically has a loaf of sugar!

Too many additives and too much sugar for my tastes, personally....0

Exactly! I just looked that stuff up! One little 86g serving had 17 grams of carbs!!!! So if I eat that, I can only have three more carbs for the whole day!!! Eff that!!! Mixing up my own cheesecake and have 3-4 carbs for the entire cupcake worth is way better! I'd rather save the carbs than be lazy in the kitchen!! Besides, I LOVE to cook!3 -

I don't believe Walmart allows anything healthy through the back door or the front doors for that matter.4 -
6g total carbs
16g sugar
Apparently the folks over at Kraft aren't too keen on arithmetic.5 -
I just posted this in my Chinese food topic, so sorry for the redundancy. My dinner today was beef bul-go-gi lettuce wraps w/the sauce on the side. Most low carb (I think) thing I could find on the menu at a Chinese restaurant.1 -
Beef Bulgogi is Korean. Odd it is at a Chinese restaurant2

I love Asian fusion There is a good Korean/Mexican fusion cart by my work. The bulgogi burritos and tacos are awesome. If I get food from them I get the bulgogi burrito salald minus rice and add extra salad.0

laurenj915 wrote: »Yes. My DH has the recipe, I'll post it later when I get home. He smokes it on his big green egg but I'm sure you could do it in a crockpot and add some liquid smoke or just used smoked paprika instead of normal paprika. For the slaw I just sliced up some cabbage and red onion and mixed in some ranch dressing!
I will try to post the recipe before the weekend is over.
I put it on my list for dinners this week. I cant wait0 -

@CRZFTM, my husband wanted me to thank you for the cheesecake muffin recipe. He loved it. I don't think it hurt his BS number either. He adores cheesecake and a whole one is just too much to have within arms reach, so the muffins will be frozen for other days. I let him have two today3

My husband doesn't really do much cooking, but he made us ... shall we say very well done burgers. A little cheese, some onion, and a bit of low-sugar ketchup and it actually made a pretty nice lunch when paired with a small salad.

BTW, thanks for the foodporn thread, I'm so tired of seeing all those freaking cake and pie recipes on my facebook feed.4

Chicken breast stuffed with cheese, mushrooms, and spinach - I had half for breakfast, I'll have the rest for lunch tomorrow.
Edit: drizzled in the butter it was cooked in. Little on the fatty side for the first meal of the day, but it was so worth it.

@canadjineh, I am in the middle of what I want to be a 48 hr. fast, just past the 24hr. marker, that salad made my mouth water. Guess I need to stay away from this thread for at least another 24 hrs. I am doing water, coffee/coconut oil, and bone broth fasting for this one.1

Mini pepperoni pizza! They're made in a muffin top pan and each little one has 77 calories, 6g fat, 5g protein, and roughly 1/2 of a carb.

Breakfast at 3PM today, 1/2 an avocado (hubby ate the other half), Prosciutto, and Tarragon Pickled Eggs. Yummers!
