I bought clothes that weren't from the plus size section! I haven't done that since I was probably 18. Not gonna lie...I almost cried in the store.9

ohmygosh!!! Congrats!! I can't wait to do that!!! I will probably bawl like a baby! Way to go girl!!3 -
Thanks @cjcarter77! I was completely shocked. It hadn't even occurred to me that maybe I could fit the "normal" section. I started trying on clothes and discovered I'm an XL (started at 3XL, sometimes 4XL). Went to a couple stores before I realized that XL is also in the "normal" section and I wasn't limited to plus anymore. Fought tears of surprise and joy in the middle of Kohl's.10

@Ultima_Morpha - You are killing it!2

Way to go @Ultima_Morpha!
Today a coworker asked how much I'd lost and I said 105 lbs. Then she said I must be almost done, right? I said no, I still have about 60 lbs to go. She looked shocked and said "from where??"9 -
I had to buy new clothes.....again. Down 10 inches in pants, 38. Down from 4 and 5xl to XL in shirts. With new clothes that fit me, more people are noticing my 100 pound absence. Walking 4 miles instead of 3 at night and they are under 17 minute miles. Bumps my weekly to over 20 miles a week with my morning break mile. I now have 3 co-workers joining me on them.12

Ran my first 10k on Saturday. Beat my goal of 70 min. Did it 66:42. Going to shoot for sub 63 this Saturday when I do my second one. This one won't be on sand or have rocks to climb so I think that's doable.
Just for "fun" I timed myself doing mile today. 8:26. Last year I cpuld barely break 10min. Am I a "runner" now? Lol5 -
Hi all... I'm new (sort of) to MFP and am just beginning my journey toward surgery. I just wanted to say that this thread is hugely inspiring and I look forward to posting my own victories here in the future.4

I go back to my surgeon tomorrow for my one month post op visit and I'm down 20 lbs since surgery.7
-
Everything is now done and in place for surgery next week, so my NSV is making it to this point. I start my new life soon.5
-
@Mandy_1982 - That is a VERY exciting NSV. We'll be here cheering you on.1
-
I've embraced the hair loss that came after my surgery. I'm rocking a new wig today and it's a much more "fun" style than my first one. I figure I might as well enjoy wearing a style that my natural hair could never manage.

Very nice!!

@Lisidy That is so cute!

@Lisidy you look great!
I went to my first bootcamp this morning (5:30 am, in the rain) and didn't die.3 -
@AllisonMart - Thank you and... that is AWESOME! I was a slacker and didn't go this morning. I'll think of you when I get my butt up and go Wednesday morning.0
-
My NSV is that I had my surgery! It feels like a major victory.7

I ran every day in May!
I racked up 120 miles; far from my biggest month of September 2016 (176 miles) but a good increase from the 80 miles I ran in May 2016.
I've been feeling out of sorts for a couple of months now so the achievement of running 31 days in a row is all that much sweeter!6
