Thanks Amy and I certainly know how you feel. I tried keto for awhile but since I don't eat meat most of my calories came from nuts, oil, and avocados which was putting me consistently over maintenance calories. Then I went back to my regular vegan diet at a calorie deficit. I became so fed up yo yo'ing like crazy with the same 5 lbs. I continued to feel hungry and would eventually over eat.
So now I am just eating a whole food vegan diet without any added fats. Now the weight is coming off like crazy. I just need to stop eating processed foods and too many nuts. So now I create a deficit and full at the same time. For me, BINGO. I enjoy delicious foods but it's not overly stimulating, can't stop eating type of foods. But then I found a video on the psychology of it all and it just resonated with me. All this time I'd been thinking something was wrong with me for not being able to stick to a diet. I will just say this "there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with US".1 -

@DDHFree thanks! I just posted those pictures because I couldn't believe that I was able to fit into that size. I'm right at the point where I have about 10 more pounds of fat left to lose then I will start to bulk and build muscle. I'm hoping to get some advice from someone that eats a keto diet and has been successful in recomposition and gaining muscle. If you have any friends that you know that fit this category send them my way please!0

There's also a pretty extensive recomp thread by @usmcmp and a gaining weight/body building forum that usually has some active bulking threads. I can't imagine ever bulking myself...taking off the weight is so hard and has taken so long, I don't think I can mentally handle gaining on purpose!1 -
Amy thanks for the information. I think that by eating higher % of protein I should naturally start to build muscle and hopefully by eating Keto not much fat. I definitely will weigh every day and try to eat as clean as possible keeping carbs low.0

Glad to say that I no longer feel any soreness in the chest area. But decided to keep my bench press very light so that I can have one more week just to be extra sure. If it reoccurs, I want to know with some level of certainty that bench press is the cause.

Last workout of my first week of Wendler. I've been a bit of an emotional roller coaster lately because my weight has been stuck again (even knowing it's shark week doesn't help) and my measurements haven't changed, but then I just ordered two dresses in a size medium and they fit perfectly. Last year I was in all L/XLs. I know I'm making progress, it's just so slow lately.

Short workout today; I just realized the nausea and vertigo I felt yesterday means I've got a migraine incoming today, so I'm probably lucky to have gotten any workout in. At least they feel short and sweet now that I've moved away from strictly 5x5.

3×3 @ 80 counterweight. Tried the last set with a closer grip and palms in and it felt quite a bit stronger.
