Sure, every plate you see me post is between 1,150-1,250 calories. I do have a couple of coffees through out the day with a little half & half (less than 20 calories). I target for 70% Fat and 30% Protein with very little carbs. I typically see 65/35 more often. It usually works out to less than 100 g of Fat and same for Protein.0 -
Thanks @hjstewart40 for sharing this1

Wow, you are so consistent and committed to this way of eating. Great to see you getting the results you are looking for.1

@hjstewart40 one question, I don't see any veggies on your plate. Would that be a concern? I have read that too much protein and fat with no vegetables may cause a fatty lever. Not sure how true that is.. Typically veggies would include green veggies, broccoli, asparagus etc which are low in net carbs..1

05/04 - 211.60 (OMAD Day 38) *14g Carbs* I decided to pick up a Rotisserie Chicken at the grocery and eat most of the fatty dark meat. Even though I added a 1/2 a chicken breast, in the end I was too full to eat it. It was a little dry anyway so no worries. I added a full avocado which made for about 1,250 calories on the day. Mixing it up seemed to help as I had a nice overnight loss. I have to say the consistent level of energy I am now experiencing through out the day is nice. I'm not saying I have energy that has me bouncing off walls, just that it is a consistent flow with no peaks and valleys. It is kind of a calming feeling. I have a road trip today so I will have to eat on the run. I have already planned out the perfect meal at waffle house that will meet my 70/30 macros (1,250 calorie T-Bone Steak plus 4 Cheese Eggs with Grilled Mushrooms & Onions). A very yummy meal!

Well I do include Avocados in a lot of my meals and broccoli and asparagus from time to time. My understanding is that fatty liver is more from excess carbohydrates and not fat or protein but I am no expert to be sure.0 -

Your report of consistent energy is encouraging. Our bodies know how to adjust! (I just have to be consistent.)

Nevermind, your body seems to adapt quite nicely to keto great weight loss journey! Look forward to more updates1 -
05/05 - 211.60 (OMAD Day 39) *24g Carbs* My plans on the day changed as I skipped my waffle house meal. I found out that my pizzas were delivered so I decided to wait it out until I got back home. I ended up with a 30 hour fast as I was not able to eat until very late (8:30 PM). As you can see from my meal I tried each one of the pizzas plus and avocado for about 1,070 calories on the day. Because the crust is made out of chicken breast and cheese and not BREAD the carbs on each of these pizzas is ridiculously low at 4 grams. So even with 3 pizzas and a full avocado I kept my macros at 61/30/9. Try that with conventional pizzas. As you can also see these by the glowing red light this had no impact on my state of ketosis. I cooked these in the microwave but next time I will do in the oven to get the crust crispier. All in all I give these a 2 thumbs up and they will become a part of my quick meal rotation for sure.

Those pizzas look so delicious and they are made of chicken! I am amazed1

05/06 - 211.20 (OMAD Day 40) *14g Carbs* Thankful for the progress which continues at what I would call a steady pace. Certainly fast enough to keep me from growing impatient. Also at a pace that could not be considered a plateau. Finally at a pace the best preserves muscle. Because I have not started working out with weights again (waiting until I get into my target weight range), it is important that I don't lose too fast and sacrifice muscle.
Now to the fun stuff! Man I had an awesome meal yesterday First of all the base of (2) 1/4 dark rotisserie lemon pepper chicken is just so tasty. I coupled that with a full avocado and then I topped that off with (4) slices of salmon sashimi and (4) slices of tuna sashimi. All from our local food mart. I added a little wasabi on top and this was like a treat to me. Absolutely great meal and better yet it lead to great results. I like seeing that I can go up as high as 1,400 calories and still show a loss. For the longest time that was not the case. I am a true believer that intermittent fasting has a lot to do with this success.

What did you purchase light up stick? I'm still using strips.1

Thats great, you lost 2.2 pounds from Saturday to Saturday1

05/07 - 210.60 (OMAD Day 41) *0g Carbs* 48 HOUR FAST I'm very thankful for the overnight loss. I had planned on fasting on Sunday but my schedule turned out Saturday that my eating window would have been pushed out so late (I hate eating right before bed) that I decided to just hang in there a little longer, go to bed early, and then enjoy my one meal tomorrow. I was just a little hungry last night but not so much so that I was wavering on the decision. This morning after a nice cup of coffee, I feel like I could go another day if I wanted. I will not though, I will eat my meal some time during my regularly scheduled window of 12-4pm. I love this way of life and really see how this will work in my favor as I move to maintenance in phase 2 of my journey. Looking back at all the other plans I tried over the years I could not say that. There was no maintenance plan or process as powerful yet so simple as OMAD, not even close.

Thanks! I never even looked at that but I will certainly take it. The one day of 48 hour fast certainly helps.1 -

Hi, I bought this close to 2 years ago. There are newer better models out now. This was the first type that went to market. You can order them from http://www.ketonix.com. Just a note about the strips. After doing a lot of research I have found that after you are in deep ketosis (several weeks) your body does not excrete the ketones in urine as much anymore and therefore the strips are not as useful. Where as the entire time you are in ketosis it can be measured in your breath. From what I have read this is the next best thing to testing through blood samples. Hope that helps.0 -
05/08 - 209.80 (OMAD Day 42) *15g Carbs* I'm so appreciative for the overnight loss. This is now the second day after the 48 hour fast and it seems the trend is that I will show a nice loss on this day as well. I will keep monitoring that in the future. I was able to eat during my window at 1:30 pm. I took my wife and son to Longhorn's where I had the 16 ounce prime rib with sauteed onions and mushrooms along with about 8 wild west shrimp (not pictured). I could not be more happy with my progress and more importantly the way I am feeling right now. Everything is clicking on all cylinders. I have been on so many diet plans before, but never have I had such a feeling around my ability to succeed with this one. It is hard to explain but I now see OMAD as a way of life for me that gives me everything back I had been missing for the past 30 years. Even the bottom of my feet feel different now. I used to have some occasionally tingling (which I know is not a good sign) but ever since these 42 days of KETO based OMAD meals that has all but disappeared.

Incredibly good news. You are an inspiration for me. Especially your daily posts.

05/09 - 210.40 (OMAD Day 43) *15g Carbs* One of those unexplained spikes up along the way that just seem to be part of the journey. I am so thankful for the stored fat burning off my body like butter to a hot flame. The past couple days I have been closer to the top end of my 1,200-1,400 calorie range so today I will back it off a bit.
I finally made it through all of Joe's videos one time through. I saw his latest last night on High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). I will start doing that as part of phase II of my journey once I get within in my weight range of 170-185 lbs. So far I have been able to lose 35 lbs with out starting back on an exercise plan. I will stick with Joe's advice to hold off until I get closer to my range.

05/10 - 210.80 (OMAD Day 44) *20g Carbs* I'm going to go back to my classic 0 carb meal today of 6 oz of steak, 1/2 salmon filet, and 5 fried eggs today. I want to see if things pick back up when I get closer to no carbs. Its all about tweaks and adjustments along the way and never about the plan. The OMAD plan for me is A+ solid and I can't imagine life any other way. Hard to believe I am on day 44 already. Still in deep ketosis as the glaring red light indicates. I just need to keep the grind going knowing that I will eventually break back under 210 and continue my journey to all my target goals.

Great going! Its going to happen soon.1

05/11 - 210.00 (OMAD Day 45) *0g Carbs* I'm very thankful that I am back moving down right back to that all important bar. My reduced meal yesterday of around 1,100 calories seemed to do the trick. I will repeat this same meal today and tomorrow and then follow that up with my weekly 48 hour fast on Saturday. That will allow me to enjoy a nice Mother's day dinner at around the 48 hour mark. I have been thinking alot about this and reading a lot on reddit and I am thinking of trying to add in 2 days out of every week with a full 48 hour fast. So the way I am thinking it would work would be I would eat 3 days in a row OMAD as per usual, and then follow that up with a 48 hour fast which would then be followed up by 3 days of eating. So basically 48 fast after 3 consecutive days of eating. I'm not 100% sure on this yet but that is my plan. I keep getting directed this way so it must be the right thing to do. We shall see.

It sounds like a good plan1
