    This was our dinner for our 25th anniversary last night. Salami, olives, cashews, macadamia nuts, raw red peppers, aged gouda, Laughing Cow Swiss, Dijon mustard, guacamole, Whisps, and hubby's three whole grain crackers. Oh and Gruet brut, my favorite part of the whole meal.

    Have you ever tried celery root mash? It's delicious! Might be a yummy mix to use both roots.

    Yes my shepherds pie is made with ground lamb. If it were ground beef it would be call cottage pie (plus you put cheese on the top not butter).
    It toasted up beautifully on top but I had a line of hungry people so I went without a finished photo.
    @CRZYFTM we really like celery root but I had turnips from the farmers market that needed to use. good idea might try it.

    I think this would work with portabella mushrooms as well. Mushrooms have lots of potassium.

    This is my fave kind of summer salad! Also, is that an Early American Pyrex bowl? I have a brown one (it was my grandma's) and it's my main salad bowl!

    That looks scrummy @EllaLeahB - I must admit though - I would probably have eaten two drumsticks - and the thighs too!!
    I often make spiralised courgettes too! Love 'em! Nice dinner!

    Yep on the Pyrex @bjwoodzy, lol, but it's the Canadian (?) version 'Autumn Harvest'. I have the whole 4 pc. multi-tone set (wedding present - I'm that old hahaha). The other day I saw a partial set of 3 at a vintage & antique shop for $65!! I'm a fan of vintage Tupperware too as you can see from my hubby's water cup for his lunchkit.
