    1.5 hrs with my masters club including 10x100m on 2:00 including rest which nearly killed me. Too much wine the night before

    Haven't posted here for a while. Been doing much more biking and intend to keep doing some through the Winter or as much as I can until it gets too cold. But recently I've been going to the pool more and will keep increasing this to make up for less biking.

    Anyway, did 3 miles nonstop freestyle yesterday. Haven't done that in over a year, since my biking accident. My goal is to get back into better shape than before the accident: RHR back in low 40s, 185 lbs weight, break my speed record on my biking commute with a lower average heart-rate and maximum heart rate. Getting there. So far, I've tied my record, but heart rate was higher, due to heavier weight and less optimal cardiovascular health.

    1km - some with hand fins - 20 mins, did before and after the circuits so was bit slower after due to the fact that circuits was arm-focused today!

    A mile and some change. Kind of slow going. I could feel my left arm/shoulder a little and I don't want that to turn into anything. Had my own lane the entire time though. :)

    damnit. You bring up an excellent point. If I ever wanted to try early morning swims, this past Monday would have been the day to start... :neutral:

    50 laps, sooo 1250m. mix of breatstroke and freestyle for last 10 and wimped out of my underwater length - only did the 1, didn't push off and try for more. ah well - always tomorrow

    The pool is only 20m length so 200 laps vs 176 laps in my ymca 25yd pool.
