I slept thru the gym today, apparently getting back in the routine wasn't as exciting at 7AM as it sounded last night. Need to get some exercise in today, so I'll have to do something tonight, it's miserable out in Jax today, not like, real winter conditions everyone else in the country is getting but they did cancel university and schools due to the weather because it just doesn't get this cold in FL and they probably don't have heat in the buildings lol. I'm sure everyone with negative temps has no pity but it's snowing in FL and that does NOT happen lol. Anyway. It felt great to sleep in my own bed last night and wake up at home, despite this crappy weather and the fact that I was not feeling like getting up and going to work (or the gym) this morning. I'm glad to be back in some sense of normalcy this week! Hope everyone's new year is off to a great start, it looks like the scales are starting to tip in the correct direction this month! (YAY!) Go team!1

UP 1.9 POUNDS SINCE LAST WEEK.
ALTHOUGH I AM UPSET AND DISAPPOINTED WITH MY WEIGH IN THIS WEEK, I AM NOT SURPRISED AS AFTER EATING FAIRLY WELL LEADING UP TO CHRISTMAS IT HAS BEEN A DOWNWARD SPIRAL SINCE THEN. I HAVE NOT BEEN EATING HEALTHY. I HAVE HAD WAY TOO MUCH DESSERT, JUNK FOOD, AND UNHEALTHY MEALS.
THE ONLY GOOD NEWS IS THAT MY WEIGHT HAD GONE UP AS HIGH AS 156.8 POUNDS ON JANUARY 1ST SO IF I HADN'T GOTTEN SOME OF THAT WEIGHT OFF I WOULD HAVE HAD TO POST A GAIN OF 3.9 POUNDS TODAY!!!!
I WOULD LIKE TO SAY I WILL GET BACK ON TRACK STARTING TOMORROW BUT MY GODFATHER DIED YESTERDAY MORNING AND ASIDE FROM MY DAD HE WAS THE CLOSEST MALE I HAD A RELATIONSHIP WITH FROM THAT GENERATION AND I HAVE KNOWN MY GODPARENTS SINCE THE DAY I WAS BORN AS MY GODMOTHER WAS MY MOM'S BEST FRIEND SINCE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. SINCE MY MOM DIED LESS THAN A YEAR AGO THIS IS A DOUBLY HARD LOSS FOR MYSELF, MY DAD, AND MY GODMOTHER.
I WILL TRY TO TAKE SOME BABY STEPS TO GET MY EATING BACK ON THE RIGHT TRACK AGAIN.

@inshapeCK. Fluctuations due to emotional and seasonal triggers is normal. We have all been there and it feels horrible.
The most important thing is to take care of yourself in trying times. Forgive the mistakes and slowly move forward.
No big changes and make sure you have a solid support network.
Deepest condolences on your loss.

Sorry I'm late! I completely forgot to update although I keep a daily weight record, so my numbers are accurate. I've lost about 15 pounds overall. This week has been tough with two family birthdays (one being my own). I've kept logging though, so I didn't go too crazy. Next week will be back to normal.
