Wow a lot of people are very close to goal. And a lot of people have a lot of snow. Fortunately for me, none here in sunny Florida.
@sussexbythesea - don't forget us. We miss you when you don't log in.
@planj - keep going. Don't give up!0 -
It has been bitterly cold here, but our 'snow' just looked like someone dumped flour on the ground. The news said Portland and surrounding area was 'battered' by snowstorms......yeah right, about an inch

Happy with my 10k time - 3 min slower than last year - but my *kitten* and hamstrings still hurt .... used the Galloway method (Jeffin’) which I think helped. Seeing a sports physio on Thursday. ETA - gorgeous, clear blue skies for the race this morning: 2C, felt like -1/0C.2 -

Feb. 25: No snow here...just rain, rain and more rain. Can’t get any running in because of it. Break in the weather and my hubby and I crawled up on my dad’s 100 plus year old garage roof to put another piece of tar paper on after the last one ripped off in the wind again. What fun crawling up there with bad boards and saturated boards. So much wet inside. It will take weeks to clean up but at least we did a temporary fix. Now to figure out where the mice are coming in to his house. Yuck!
Adding 10 miles of walking 5 tonight and jumping on the bike for another five.
TTD: 266 miles
Congrats to k80flec on your 10k!
Keep plugging away Planj. It’s a short month but you can get there.

@sufferlandrian It's grey, rainy and a bit chilly and I'm okay with it after seeing your cold pictures.
Two miles before and during boot camp. To make it more fun, we ran the stairs with each lap. Going down is a lot harder than going up since i really don't want to trip and take out those below me.

Switched to the fat tire for commuting today. It goes through the snow and slush better. However, it takes a lot more power to push it down bare pavement. My legs are feeling it tonight.2
