March 2018 Move Your @$$ Challenge

Spent my time today at the office with two difficult clients, so the retirement conversation sounds much more tempting than a normal day. No, it is not my fault that your income increased by $70,000 and you now owe more tax. That's just the way taxes work. I would miss most of my clients terribly, but there are some........
So, not much moving since Thursday, but I did add 3 miles walking. March total 34 miles.
On a happier note, I found out last night my oldest daughter and my someday son-in-law have finally decided to get married. They've been together since 2008, so it was all but official anyway. The over planners have chosen the last weekend in May, on a Friday so they can keep the guest list very small, and a picnic on Saturday for friends and extended family that want to come. It's what they are comfortable with, so that is the way it will be. Neither of them is big on being the center of attention, even on special days, so this is perfect.4 -

@TAXMOM9093 - BOOHOO! My heart weeps for them for making $70K *more* last year....NOT! While I agree that it really stinks how much taxes get taken out. *grumble grumble* And congratulations on your daughter's pending nuptials come May! That sounds perfect to me too! My daughter was going to get married this Fall, but they've now postponed it til next year. She will likely want an overdone wedding. I tried really hard to nudge her and her fiance to just take care of it last weekend as long as they were already in Vegas for a friend's wedding... I told them I'd still give them the money I was going to give them, but they could spend it on a car they desperately need instead of a one day party.
I had a lot of stuff going on all weekend so I had a two day break from the gym. I went back this morning and had a great workout with the weights, StairMaster and treadmill. I felt strong and I really enjoyed it and was glad I went.

I think I'm on the flip side of this thing. I'm still coughing up a lung sometimes, but not as often as I was. Until this morning when a co-worker got flowers for her birthday/anniversary - that stink. She put them in the copy room because she couldn't stand the odor . And it is right across from my office. My current wheezing has NOTHING to do with pneumonia.

Great start of the week. My teammate is sick so I got to teach double classes of 50 plus kids for five straight hours today while sending groups of them to complete height, weight and screening and then spent lunch working with a group of girls on their dance for using in our schools program next week. I will not miss the sub shortage and I am not coming back to help with the problem...lol.
@Just_Ceci: They have been asking me for about four years to do a Girls on the Run program so I think I will be starting a group.

3 mile run this morning. Muggy out! I'm at 69/75. Off to California tomorrow to check on mom. It's cool there so I'm hoping to have some nice runs.

Preparations going well for my first cycling event of the season. The very cold, wet and windy Daffodil Classic in the foothills of Mr Rainier is April 15th. Plus the event starts in my hometown, my son will be coming so we are going to hang about a few days cycling. Getting pumped

And that's GOAL for @2ESSIE and @LADYPERSIA!! Congrats!! :drinker:
Ummm...my apologies...I seem to have spaced off updating yesterday...
I took a rest day yesterday, but went to the gym this morning and did 6.5 miles on the stationary recumbent bike and a 1.0 mile treadmill walk/run ... way more walk than run ... but it felt good to mix a little in!
Happy Hump Day, everyone! I sure hope it's looking more like Spring where you are than it does here. We got snow and freezing rain all day yesterday in the Twin Cities.

2.2 treadmill miles. I'm doing a 5K on Saturday so having a good run made me happy. I'd have gone longer but needed to hit the showers before that pesky job thing.
Mid March and NC had snow flurries most of the day. The weather here amuses me. I never leave the house without checking the weather app.
