So baby girl decided to check herself out at 39 week and 4 days. Went into labor on 9/19 around 3:30 AM and she was out by noontime! Thought I’d be waiting for whole day since it’s my first baby, but the progress turned out to be really quick that I almost missed the chance of having epidural.
She’s only 6 lbs. but I still have 2nd degree tear. My ob said my body probably wouldn’t be able to handle a bigger baby and this is a good size for both of us!

I am 15 weeks and have officially gained between 4-5lbs. My normal weight is/was 135 and I went on a vacation to France and Italy right before I got pregnant and came home weighing 140lbs. I didn't mind because we were trying but interestingly enough I feel like I have been eating literally anything I want for the first time for the last 3+ months and have only gained 4-5lbs. That being said I don't know how much is too much and I don't want to suddenly blow up like a balloon either! I just joined MFP today to try to be more mindful now that my nausea is gone and I feel more like myself...fingers crossed it works! I never wanted to be one of those women who uses pregnancy to eat whatever she wants but sadly fell into the trap with a lot of nausea and food aversions during the first 3 months!1

I'm 21 weeks and So far I've gained 4kgs ( the doctor weighs in kgs, and I don't have scales at home). That's about 8.8lbs if I'm correct?
The last few weeks I seem to have forgotten healthy eating, so am trying to get back to healthy. Not dieting, but maybe eat a salad or a jacket potato for dinner ever so often 😂0 -

@VeryKatie you are not alone mama! I just have been mostly avoiding the scale and the added depression of posting it on here. But good for you for your steady, SLOW weight gain! If it makes you feel better, with my second pregnancy, I had tons of Braxton Hicks throughout the pregnancy and started getting them in the first trimester with this pregnancy as well. It’s a nice reminder that our bodies are prepping for our wee ones! And I saw you’ll be off work soon!! How exciting! That must be such a relief!1 -

@2lovemyself and now I feel like I've disappeared. I'm done work till after my mat leave now (I went on sick leave) and I have my toddler at home, so less time to spend on mfp (... i.e. while at work lol). But I'm moving around a lot more and feeling so much happier and physically better already. I am thinking my Braxton Hicks were from the red raspberry leaf tea I drank. I guess you're not supposed to drink that till 32 weeks so it was a bit early. Weird though since it did diddly squat in my first pregnancy. Fun fact. Now that I'm off work my libido is back. I thought it was gone because of pregnancy... turns out it was stress.1 -

Hi All I just found out I'm pregnant last week. I'm hoping this is an active group because there aren't really any discussions going on in the main forums about pregnancy that I can find. My last pregnancy I gained 65 lbs so I'm going to try really hard to keep a handle on it this time!! I plan on continuing to count calories. Trying to eat roughly around maintenance right now (I am 5 weeks)

I'm about 10 weeks along and somehow have lost 2 lbs. I'm trying not to overthink it and trust my maintaining calories. Right before getting pregnant I was just finishing up with losing 20lbs in about 4 months so maybe my body is still reacting? Idk gonna ask my ob if I should up my calories in a couple weeks.0

I stopped counting calories 2 weeks ago I got tired of seeing the big red number at the end of every day. BUT I haven't gained anything so far, so I guess I'm doing alright. I might start up again once my stomach stop acting funny. They say you don't need extra calories in your first trimester but I don't think that's true. Otherwise I would have probably gained a couple lbs by now.0
