    OK Veggiegirl and AnnofB! Just because you have hot weather does not mean you need to send it to the rest of us!!! My beautiful fall days have reverted to summer again!!! It's 81 today and 79 is predicted for tomorrow! :laugh: However, the weather is so crazy that by Friday it is supposed to be 46!!! :noway: i think I'll just put the air on until it snows! :sunglasses:

    I cannot believe i walked 3.5 miles yesterday cleaning my house!! I just did not have the energy to work out after I got done so I was surprised when I saw 3.5 on Garmin Connect today! No wonder I was pooped! I need a smaller house!!! :laugh:

    Sorry @zichab! I would never send anyone yucky hot weather! We are supposed to be much cooler toward the end of the week as well, though not as cool as 46F! Nice! I'm ready for fireplaces and warm sweaters!

    zichab, I feel for ya. But relief is in sight for all of us thanks to hurricane Michael. Our night time temps will be flirting with the upper 40's!

    3.5 miles cleaning - great total. But isn't it funny how much more enjoyable it is to get the miles in walking with Leslie than cleaning? I need a smaller house too.

    Our goals are similar! I am working on being more consistent with doing my exercises on a regular bases. Best wishes to you in achieving your health goals!🙂👍

    Thanks! You too! I have a lot of weight to lose and I know the food is 95% of it but it would be nice to have 'some' cardio movement!

    I have not been posting because the last few days have been very hard for me. I assume that most of you who are Americans have heard about the Limo accident that killed 20 people in Schoharie, NY. Well I was born and raised in Schoharie County NY and my husband graduated from Schoharie Central High School and grew up 10 minutes down the road from the Apple Barrel. I cannot tell you how many times we have been to the Apple Barrel when it was a fruit and vegetable stand to get apples and squash every fall from the time we were children. The fact that it is the place so many lost their lives on Saturday has impacted everyone who is from or currently lives in our very rural county. The first responders there have never dealt with anything this horrific before and many of them, including my niece's husband are struggling with the aftermath of the carnage they had to see. Please keep the families of the lost in your thoughts or prayers and those of our first responders as well. So many are suffering. :heartbreak:

    AnnofB The heat is supposed to break in MI on Friday when we drop down into the 40s! My students are all going to be sick I just know it! The classrooms are so hot and you know they are going to be freezing next week. MEH-soon we will be complaining about the cold.

    Such a terrible tragedy, and so close to home for you and your family. It's one of those things that hurts your heart just to hear of it. Prayers for all effected by this.

    Hi Walking704, glad you joined us. Congratulations on your 37 lb loss. You are doing great. The only advice I would give is do NOT give up! Maybe eat 100 calories less each day. Or ad 10 minutes onto your walks. There are probably some good articles here on MFP regarding busting plateaus under the HelloHealthy blue link.
