It’s a struggle, for now I’m losing it, but I hope it will change

@saskicpg, sorry to hear that you are losing the battle right now. If it seems insurmountable, just start small. Start with something you CAN do. For instance, say this week you aim to get in 8 glasses of water a day. Maybe try logging your food, just to get back into the habit, regardless of whether you are eating at a deficit or not. Or maybe this week just try giving up snacking after 8 pm. The possibilities are endless. You got this!!

For those that are interested, there is a spreadsheet for this challenge. On the home page, under "November Information" (I know, Ashley forgot to change it!), there is a link for "January". The bottom of each week keeps a running total of weight and percentage lost and the last column is the grand totals for the month to date.

    Weigh in day.
    184lbs
    Got my 100lbs off!
Getting back into the routine of logging, not 100 percent there yet. Struggling a bit with wanting to snack in the evenings.
Amazing week for exercise - two 1.5hour taekwondo classes, 3x5k runs and a pretty intense yoga class.

Whoo hoo!!! A sincere congratulations for reaching the 100 pound loss mark!!! An accomplishment worth celebrating!! Well done on the variety of intense workouts this past week!!

    MINI CHALLENGE
    DATE: Monday, January 7, 2018
    Logged food: Yes
    Under calories: Yes
Exercised: Yes - 30 minute medium hard elliptical / 10 minutes stretching
    Steps as of posting: 13,926

I have a random complaint of the day. I feel like you should get tons of steps and calories burned for making dinner. Not sure if y’all do, but I sure don’t. I leave the kitchen after an hour of prepping, cooking, cleaning and feel exhausted, ready for a drink(dinner for 4 picky eaters ((including me))). I think, “surely that counted as active minutes and at least 2000 steps”. Not at all :(.

I agree completely!! Feel like once it's done I've earned something extra, but never works out that way.

Those kinds of issues are why I stopped using fitbit - and I am in no way saying ppl should stop using fitbit. It is a great tool, and you and others seem to get a benefit from it.
But personally I found that things like that bothered me and had me not tracking calories properly. And that had me actually not losing weight anymore.

Anyway, I hope it continues to provide value for you.
