I have been really good exercise and calorie wise but I can't seem to kick this weight. I know that as I get smaller, my weight will take longer and come off a lot slower. Anyway have any advice to re kick start the loosing process?

This is my newest time saving tip. Where I live - this bag is $1.75. A red/orange bell pepper is $1.50-$2.50. Green is $0.75-$1.00 and and onion. This bag probably has 1/2 of each and a whole big onion. If you don’t need fresh - this is GREAT!!

I love this stuff. I usually shop at Kroger and can get their brand for a $1! I like to saute it with smoked turkey sausage. Super fast and cheap lunch or dinner!

I scramble this in my eggs for extra veggies and FLAVOR. I used it in spaghetti sauce last night, I have used in fajitas... I am buying 2 bags every week now. I bet I'm also saving at least $5! I have used and actually prefer the Kroger brand. I think Kroger's has a greater pepper to onion ratio than PictSweet.

Week 2 of maintains.. at what point is it a plateau? It’s not something I’ve ever thought of before (I’m usually gaining or losing). I like to think of it as the ‘slow before the go’ - Like when you pull back on an arrow before letting it fly off at speed towards the target. That’s the hope at least! 🎯

I might be wrong but I think 1 month is considered a plateau, please correct me if I am wrong. That is where I am at now. Mind you, Christmas was in the middle of all that which cause a gain and then a reloss

Good morning Warriors, Happy Freaking Friday!!!

I am headed to my company party tonight after work. I have already logged my food as well as the two cocktails I will have. I know that it is a no work out day for me so I am tightening up on my calories. If it wasn't logged, it will NOT go in my mouth. I can do this, I WILL DO THIS!!!

Lets set the tone for the weekend my friends. Good food choices, get that body moving and don't forget that H2O!!!!

I love that you make calories for the cocktails at the party! So smart! Enjoy the moment....and the cocktails!

    MORNING CHECK IN

I had a slight binge yesterday and went over calories, but only 100 over maintenance. I stepped on my scales again this am and was up another 1.5. WHAT THE ACTUAL HECK??? 100 calories does not constitute a 1.5 lb gain. I went back and looked at the last week. I am right at a 3000 cal deficit- so I should have lost 0.75 or so, not gain a total of 5 pounds.

Again- what is different???? I am on a new medication so decided to look up side effects and found this
    buhokjgbtesm.png

And my feet look like Fred Flintstone feet...

My next question - is 5 lbs in 5 days enough to be considered rapid weight gain? Do I call today or wait till Friday to have a full week of data and see if it levels off. I know there are several healthcare professionals on this team - chime in!!!

BTW - I am loving the SPOILER button! Why am I just now using it :-)

New meds always make me bloat, I was prednisone for my bronchitis in October and within 4 days on the stupid stuff I was up 4lbs and by the 10th day I had gained 8lbs. You are not gaining fat weight on maintenance calories. Give it time to do what it needs to do then worry about the rest. right now drink tons of fluids to flush and avoid salty foods. You got this woman!!!

    Exactly!

Water is key, increase your water intake to help flush your sodium and help your body drop any water weight.

    GOOD MORNING WARRIORS

I had a pretty good day yesterday. I finished the day with 1333 calories but only 5k steps. As @KelGen02 says - desk job junkie. I just set an alarm on my phone to go off every 30 minutes to remind me to get my butt up!!!

I have pre logged my day and I am at about 1000 calories. I know I will be adding stuff, but this is a good starting point.

    A BIG THANK YOU
I have been in this challenge for some time now. Took a sabbatical and came back...
I feel more love and support NOW than I ever have in the past. This family ROCKS!!! I have sisters that check on me multiple times per day and a dad standing over my shoulder. My brother seems to have gone MIA (ahem, @steplaj) but I am sure he will return soon. It is so nice to know that we are here together for a common goal and are all willing to help each other along the way!!

    XOXO

    Ok sis, I'm back! LOL
