Not a good week. It was my first week back to work (I'm a teacher) and it's always rough. Being up and alert both mentally and physically after 2 weeks of lounging is challenging. On Monday I drank more water than I ever drink, did good with food prep, but Monday night was the big championship game and I ate junk, stayed up late. It kind of sent the rest of my week spiraling. Vowing to get back on track and I still have a goal to be under 200 by the end of January. I think it's possible with water weight! Great job to those who have been so focused!5 -

Daily Post (Friday)
Track: Yes
Calories: Yes, fasting
Exercise:Yes, 60 mins weight training
Comments: Well, it looks like they're original snow estimate of 5-7 inches was wrong. We have 7 inches already and still 24 hours of snow in the forecast and could get another 12 inches. It's pretty crazy. I cancelled my trainer appointment because I didn't want to deal with the snow, guess it's a good thing I have a gym at home It's looking like we will be snowed in for a few days. Guess I'll make some low carb french toast in the morning
We actually haven't seen snow like this in my lifetime...
Ashley - send some snow my way please!! All we have here is bitter cold! 19 last night in Manhattan!

So happy today! My mom decided to join MFP to help on her goals. She has seen my progress and wants to get her weight down. Tracking is the best way. We are each other's support! I will hold her accountable and she likewise. I found these inspirational weight lost equivalents and since my journey started October 16th 2018 I have lost 35 pounds. I cannot believe I was carrying that. I tried lifting that amount and...wow! Today I reached my very first goal which is my halfway point of being out of the 300s! 🎊🎊🎊🎇🎇🎇🎇 I was so scared on how things would go because I am back in school and I'm sitting so much more now. But so far so good! I just need to watch my intake and move as much as possible.6 -

Today was family time! We had fast food for lunch. I only ate half my sandwich and stayed well within my numbers for the day! NSV for me! Cause normally I’d have eaten the whole thing and reached for more!3 -

Daily Post (Saturday)
Track: Yes
Calories: No. Closer to maintenance.
Exercise: Yes, lots of walking.
Comments: I weighed in at 179 this morning so that's good. I will not go back up. I've actually gotten so much better at doing well over the weekends lately. They used to be indulgence days but I've been making healthier choices even if we go out to eat. I haven't had major losses but I've definitely made a lot of improvements the last few months in terms of lifestyle and eating healthier and for nourishment instead of just taste. I was over my calorie deficit today (although I didn't account for my walking), however, definitely still at maintenance. I will be at deficit tomorrow and continue to venture into the 170s hopefully!4 -
Daily check in Jan 12
Tracking: Yes
Calories: over
Exercise: 10,000 steps.
My husband wanted a takeaway, but there was nothing we fancied, so he made chips and stuff, so my calories were bad, but not as bad as they could have potentially been. Oh well, make up for it tomorrow.3 -
Daily Post (Saturday)
Track: Yes
Calories: No
Exercise:Yes, spent an hour and a half trying to find my driveway
Comments: Ate a little too much today, made a really tasty brisket and low carb french toast for breakfast so I did go over today, so I'll eat a little less on Sunday to compensate.3 -
Daily post (Jan. 12)
Track: yes
Calories: no. Only over by 120! Somewhat of a victory coming from someone who can easily mindless eat!!
Exercise: yes, I worked an 8 hour shift and 7.5 hours I was on my feet constantly moving!
Comments: I’m definitely gonna do this daily post to help keep myself accountable! It gives me a moment to reflect on my day and I think that’s so important when you’re making this a lifestyle change. You’ll definitely be seeing more posts from me as far as Saturday went, I was tired from my long day at work. It was a tough day but I didn’t indulge in anything like I usually do on days like this. It makes me feel great that i didn’t let my moment of weakness steer me off track. Super proud2
